10 / 10Outstanding·Sep 2026
We weren't sure what to expect given it's an older hotel. Fortunately, our room was similar to what we saw in the pictures. It was old, but seemed the most well maintained of all the hotels we've been in recently. The furnishing and fixtures all seemed fairly new. What stood out was that it was by far the cleanest room we've ever had. That alone meant we'll be back next time we're in SF. The bonus was the all the great staff, and the cookies, apples and lemon water in the lobby. We especially loved the state of the art coffee machines in the lobby. We heard the hotel was family owned and to us, it showed.

The staff was friendly and checked us in at 2PM. It's hard to beat this location with many shops around the area and the financial district not far away. The room was comfortable.

Tiny room, no aircon, very noise- you can hear people talking next door.
Free coffee, water and sometime biscuits in the lobby.
