Great location, facilities needs an upgrade

Location is great, rooms were clean, peaceful location, shops and bus stop nearby

Uncomfortable sofa - needs a upgrade Small beds Toilet door lock doesn’t work The extractor fan in toilet doesn’t work (there is only one toilet) Outdated and slow television There is no barbecue at the property (as shown in the photos)

Beautiful lodge!

The location was great just a short bus journey into the centre. It was really cosy with lots of natural light. Off road parking. I would love to go again. Great value for money

There were a few things that had been misplaced or broken by previous guests which hadn't been noticed but Agnes (host) was very helpful. It had no internet which is a no no with kids today. But hopefully that will be rectified. The welcome book could be more helpful in terms of; things around the local area, transport, how to use the heating, how to open velux blinds etc

An excellent stay, great location, highly recommend

Fantastic location within a 25min walk to Edinburgh City Centre, along the way we stopped in at the botanical gardens which were beautiful and a must see! The accommodation was fantastic, great kitchen to cook food in, and a laundry closet with a washer/dryer. We had a couple of squirrels to great us a ‘good morning’ everyday. Such a lovely location and so beautiful. It was great that we had private gated parking too! I would highly recommend a stay here, and would definitely return for further stays!

As we were a party of 6, two stayed on the comfortable sofa bed in the front room; to provide a bit of privacy it would have been great to have a concertina screen to fold out during the evenings.

Was good, could have been better.

Location, the property is lovely. Our host was quick to respond and sort out what she could. We needed the garden.

The photos had a BBQ, piano and guitar in them - one the primary reasons we chose the relatively expensive property (compared to flats) - none of these were there, and when we asked, were told they weren't in the written description. The garden was not well maintained. The beds are small (short) and not wonderfully comfortable. There is a loud dripping tap in the kitchen which should not take much to fix.

Lovely mix of old and new. Sympathetically modernised with lots of light and spacious kitchen diner. Good WiFi connection for working from home/not home.

Well-equipped charming house, great location.

Lovely little house full of character and in a brilliant location. We loved the kitchen - garden space and our wee girl had a brilliant time playing in this safe, enclosed space. Great bus links to central Edinburgh very close by and lots of local little shops too. The property is well equipped and communication was very good. The parking is also a great bonus. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We were a little disappointed that the BBQ shown in the picture is no longer at the property, having come with food to have one. Although I appreciate it isn’t in the property description now, the photos give the impression it’s still there. I think a mirror in the bedroom (there’s one in bathroom which obviously steams up) would also be a good addition.
