Les Mansardes du Roi - À deux min du château - Centre historique

It’s very cute. A mix of old feeling and modern. Bed is comfortable. It has everything you need for a short stay. Is well located - a few mins walk from Versailles palace & lots of bars & restaurants nearby. We spent a whole day touring the palace which was amazing

The spiral staircase is a killer - with your luggage and after each hard day of walking. I banged my head on the beams more than once. The place was clean but a bit odd in that the washing machine was full of laundry & there was a hoover in the wardrobe. We also struggled to find the property. Taxi driver didn’t know the road. It was bad luck that there was a thunder & lighting heavy rain storm as me arrived. Gaining entry was tricky as there are 2 staircases and we went (4 flights) up the wrong one. I found the message about checking out a bit rude too - as if it was expecting us to be late & leave dirty dishes. Also the listing shows a view of the palace - and that is not visible from the window so it’s a bit misleading.

Eine gemütliche und sehr chic eingerichtete Ferienwohnung. Dadurch, dass sie im vierten Stock liegt und die Fenster zum Innenhof ausgerichtet sind, hat man kaum Störgeräusche. Es war alles sauber, frisch bezogen und es wurde freundlicherweise vorab der Ventilator eingeschaltet. Wir danken und kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir Versailles nochmal besuchen.

Einige Hölzchen des Stäbchenparketts haben sich gelöst, konnten allerdings wieder in die Lücke gedrückt werden. Also kein großes Problem- eher störend, wenn man nachts in das Bad ging.

L emplacement a proximité des marchés halles. Pas loin du château. Resto a proximité. Excellent spot... Très agréable. Calme très propre.
