Pleasant, comfortable, safe, like at home. We will come back.

The apartment had everything you need. All basic household appliances, toiletries and cosmetics. Clean bed linen, towels, comfortable bed. Coffee for a better wake-up call. Extremely quiet and pleasant to sleep in. Spacious. Always hot water for showers. Located on a beautiful street. Old, but authentic building. Without any unpleasant smell in the apartment. The biggest advantage of an apartment in the winter months is that you can adjust the temperature in all rooms. Each room has a radiator. Hotels in Versailles do not have this option and guests' experiences in hotels say that the rooms and bathrooms were cold. This is not the case in this apartment. The kind hostess Lina was always available with any kind of help.

It was beautiful to spend a week in an 18 century house in the best part of Versailles in a charming 2-room-flat. The flat is located on the 2nd floor in the back of an old townhouse which of course means narrow doors, narrow stairs, no lift. All fine by me. The flat itself has been recently renovated but it retained the ancient railings in front of the windows (which overlook a small courtyard and get enough sunlight). There is a spacious kitchen with a lot of cupboards, a microwave, an oven, a fridge, a coffee machine, and a sitting area. In the bedroom, there is a lot of storage space, an ironing board, and an iron. The bathroom is small but you have everything you need, also a hairdryer. All sorts of cleaning utensils. Heavy curtains to block any light at night. Camera on the door showing the entire space in front of the entrance door. The location is perfect for someone like me. Rue Royale is the main artery of the Quartier St. Louis which is the best preserved part of the town. You find everything what you need in Rue Royale, except of course of the palace and the gardens... If you walk out of the door, to your left there is a great bakery (literally 5 m from you). To your right, bakeries, butcher's shops, fish bistro, cafés, pastry shops (note Patisserie Fine owned by Sebastien Serveau, the former pastry chef of the Ritz), delis, chocolateries... You walk across the unique Carré St. Louis with the former market stalls, now filled with cafés, restaurants and small shops. There is also a Carrefour. You can buy vegetables at the Potager du Roi (vegetable garden of the King). There is a market around the St. Louis cathedral. The palace is not far, you can take Avenue de Sceaux for the frontal view of the palace, or go through the Cour des Senteurs (google it) or cross the Potager. To visit the gardens, there are two choices: to cross the main courtyard or to cross the city and access the gardens from the North side (Grille de la Reine).

There was nothing I wouldn't like. Some might have a problem with the stairs and the lack of a lift, so please think before booking. The way to the station is not exactly short, especially if your train arrives/leaves at Versailles Chantiers.

Good

I think the best word to describe this apartment would be "functional". I didn't use all of them, but the apartment was filled with just about every appliance and accessory imaginable for comfortable home living, including coffee maker, microwave, range, refrigerator, dishwasher, TV, washer/dryer, fans, etc.

I think the words "charm" and "cozy" are not the best fit for this listing. The decor of the apartment was rather drab and sterile. The view out the windows was into a dreary little interior courtyard.

An old apartment freshly renovated, bright and clean with very good kitchen and washing facilities. Considerate host who communicated well.

Alles in allem perfekt für den Grund unseres Besuchesn Versailles.

Sehr gute Ausstattung, alles in gutem Zustand, sehr sauber. Die Lage ist sehr gut, vom nahe gelegenen Bahnhof ist auch Paris sehr gut zu erreichen. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Nähe des Apartments. Absolut ruhig.

Das Apartment liegt im 2. OG Hinterhaus, die Aussicht geht leider nur auf den eng bebauten Hinterhof. Da man aber ohnehin den ganzen Tag unterwegs ist, war das nicht wirklich störend.

Skvělá poloha, kousek od palace, velmi klidna lokalita. Detailní návod k převzetí klíčů. Velmi dobré vybaveni kuchyně. Příjemní lide v sousedství. 15 minut vlakem do Paříže.

Logement parfait pour un court séjour à Versailles, seul ou en couple.

Emplacement au top, proche des commerces, pas loin du potager du roi et donc du château. Station RER C à 10 minutes.

L'absence de climatisation lorsqu'il fait vraiment chaud est préjudiciable (supportable lors de mon séjour). Il y avait une odeur de tabac froid probablement laissée par un précédent client.

Facilité d'accès (code porte coté rue, puis au deuxième étage avec le code de la boite à clé devant la porte de l'appartement. Bien situé et très calme, et très bien équipé. Tout le confort pour passer un séjour dans de bonnes conditions.

Certains éclairages dans l'appartement sont à revoir : - les 2 plafonniers de la salle d'eau ne fonctionnent pas ainsi que la rampe de spots coté cuisine située au plafond. Dans la partie commune, l'escalier en bois n'est pas très large, mal éclairé entre le rez-de-chaussée et le premier étage.
