La Roseta

The view was outstanding, better than we could possible imagine. The flat was bright and clean, cozy and had everything we needed for an amazing stay in Varenna ❤️ The location, although distant from the centre, you can easily catch a train from Fiumelatte - a lovely 5 minute walk from La Roseta. The balcony was our favourite spot in the house - the sunset view is breathtaking ❤️ we enjoyed so much seeing the beautiful wildlife and taking in the calmness of the lake. An absolute dream ❤️

The tv didn’t work (or we didn’t know how to use it!) but that was actually a positive thing as , because of that, we ended up spending more time outside! ☺️

Location was amazing! We watched the sunset every night on the deck, which had stunning views out. There was also sun lounger chairs and outdoor dining set up, so you could comfortably eat, drink or relax out there. The whole place was lovely and comfortable as well. Very good set up, and the host was helpful for accessing the property and providing information and recommendations for the surrounding areas.

Views were spectacular over Lake Como

It was genuinely difficult to get to from the major transport hub. No mention was made that you really needed to take a taxi or have a car to get good access. We took the train, then had a very difficult time coming down a lot of rough stairs from the platform. Also - there is no local grocery stores or similar so you need to bring supplies with you from the start.

The instructions to get the key were clear.

The direction to get to the parking and to the property were not precise. We spent 30 minutes looking.
