Fiumelatte takes its name from the Fiumelatte River, one of the shortest rivers in Italy, from its source to its plunge into the lake. It rushes down the valley with an average gradient of 36°, giving its roaring waters a sparkling, milky white hue.

Great location. Everything accessible by ferry which is a 15 minute walk. Hiking trails out the back door. Restaurants close, fabulous couple of days!

We had a very nice apartment and the owner was very helpful.
The only issue we had was No air conditioning! And very little parking.

The apartment was spacious and well equipped—exactly what we needed. Just a short walk to Varenna.

Overall nice place. Once you park your car, best not to move it. However, 1/2 hr walk to town we enjoyed but not for everyone.
