Rosa House Varenna

This properties location was fantastic, it was extremely clean and comfortable to stay. The host Roberto made us feel so welcome and was very hospitable.

The place was nice and clean! The view of the lake from our patio was amazing! Roberto is so nice and helpful. He was able to drive us to and from the town.

We liked everything about our stay at Rosa House in Varenna! The ONLY reason for the location score was that if you want walking access to shops,food, etc, you need to get to the town square ( which is lovely) which is a bit of a walk, but very doable... but it is uphill coming back.. We had NO PROBLEM getting back and forth, as Roberto provided us with reputable taxi services! Roberto is such a kind and considerate host, who helped to ensure we had a wonderful stay. We took the ferry to Bellagio and Mennagio, easy and straight forward! Rainy and chilly, but still magical.

Rosa House was spotless and very comfortable. The beds were supportive and cozy. The location, about a 30 minute walk from Varenna, turned out to be one of the highlights—this beautiful walk let us experience the area's stunning scenery up close. Roberto, the host, elevated the experience with his warm and generous hospitality. He offered complimentary pick up and drop off at the train station for our arrival and departure. I felt like we were staying with a thoughtful friend rather than an rental.
