B&B Genevillers hotel Paris issues

I liked the location and the ease of access to public transport.

The day of check in the washbasin was chocked, so i requested repairs, which were done only after reminding the staff 3 times. Next day we left a request for a change of room as it was on the ground floor with the room window next to a public road where people were loitering near and speaking and shouting loudly at 3 AM. Further the room door made a racket and did not close peoperly. We even saw a can of coke kept on the outside window ledge. I requested a change of room since my partner felt insecure, on our return to the property they initially did not note our prior request, but after some clarification of our advance notice for the change agreed but gave us a room where the air conditioner was poor. We again asked the management to change the room, which the management was not willing to accede to! They suggested we sleep in 38-degree heat and look replacement later next day!! They only agreed for a room change when I warned them of negative feedback on your site. That is shameful. The service hence needs to improve a lot.

The Air Conditioner isn’t good, it was 31C in Paris and I couldn’t sleep at night. The AC wasn’t even cooling.

Good location near the supermarket, cafes. Hotel provided underground parking for 15 euro per night.

Very simple unhealthy breakfast - no any fresh vegetables/fruit. The tap in the bathroom was broken, a lot of water were leaking on floor. There was only two towel for all body for two persons and one small shower foot towel. No fridge, no safe. The air conditioner all the time turned on by itself and we woke up from cold.

Overall - good 👍🏻

Well connected to the city - metro station is across the street. Breakfast option - good to have. Room service was good - removing trash, making beds every day, changing towels at the half of the stay. Good value for money - especially when compared to other Paris hotels.

Cleaniless - it could and should be cleaner - overall it was clean (toilet, floor ok), but walls and window curtains were dirty. Missing home slippers for the room. It would be useful to have more space to unpack the bag and put clothes (some kind of wardrobe).

Cheap and well connected option with no Fuzz.

Very well connected with metro, although metro sometimes get very crowded. Soundproof windows and air conditioning working. Price was good for a breakfast included. Area has nothing to see but you still have an OK supermarket, McDonalds, Boulangerie, pharmacy etc.. around for quick shopping.

No communication with clients regarding looting and serious incidents outside during riots. Hotel personnel seems unmotivated and sad. Breakfast is simple and OK for the price, I like the concept with not really big fuzz or a-la-carte style but should be a bit better managed (refills, cleaning tables etc.).

I consider paying for location itself. Metro station was right in front, we went to every important tourist places using metro, so it was really helpful. Also, it's pretty decent for money I paid.

Some staff didn't speak English, so communicating was hard, I spent almost all my time out, so it wasn't main problem. There wasn't hair dryer in room. Housekeeping wasn't good, breakfast on first day was almost gone and they barely added anything back, also it was same everyday, so it gets boring, if one stays for a long time, however, for a week it was fine. In general, it was fine and experience wasn't bad.

Nothing in fact. Compared to the room rate, rooms are very small and congested, toilet is also very small, no bath or even room materials like glass, TV do not had any English channels. I shall never stay back here

Our room was dirty, with hair on the floor, the bathroom was dirty, especially the sink, I am sure that the cleaning lady didn't clean it after who was beforeus, also the floor from the room was dirty. They didn't have water to drink, we wanted to buy the water but nowhere you can find it and I don't recomande the breakfast!

Worst Experience Ever

The staff was friendly

Where do I start. When walked in to the room it felt like a hostel. There was no tea or coffee making facilities as you would expect that from a hotel at that price. Went to wending machine and ordered a tea for 1.60 euros. And it gave me a hot cup of water and dispensed a tea bag on other side. I asked reception if there is any milk in hotel and they said there isnt. There were Ants in the room!!!! I reported it when i found out and was offered another room. Only to find more Ants in that room later. The facility was dirty. There were nails on toilet floor. Hair in bath. On my bed side i found some ones broken shiny button. Over all due to ants my stay there was horrible my whole trip was wasted and i couldnt enjoy my trip to france due to lack of sleep. I was staying with my wife and 3 months baby and this whole time I was worried if ants are gonna go onto my baby and i looked after her and didnt get any rest. I will not recommend this place to anyone as it will be waste of time and money. I have more photos but this app will only allow me to share 4.
