One night stay. Got the job done. Rooms are definitely dated, efficient three bathroom. But location directly across from the metro is perfect. Would stay here again for a short time but not for a long trip

Front desk gentleman was nice but I think he was trying to scam us more money. We booked for two nights. And he was claiming we had to pay property tax of $150. And I have no idea how he got that number. I think he thought because we were tourists that we would fall for it. But after pulling up my Expedia receipt, it said $34 Canadian pay at property. So I genuinely don’t know where he got that number from. The room was OK very basic for what you pay for bathroom and bedding was clean. My biggest fear is bedbugs and I didn’t see anything like that so it felt safe to sleep on. Stiff bed. Because it’s on a wooden frame. And I do think some of the walls either needed to be cleaned or repainted. But for a couple of nights, it was doable. But I would not recommend sleeping there for up to a week just because the bed was stuff and you only get one pillow per person and there was no blow dryer in the washroom. Also, when you go to check out on your last day, don’t leave the room too early because once you leave after 11 am. The room automatically locks you out we were lucky to have all of our stuff out.

Was not a full bed. Two twin beds side by side. Only comforter and no sheet. I sleep under a sheet. Air conditioner did not work

My room and 3other colleagues rooms all smelled of stale cigarette smoke, front door to hotel had been smashed and beds were uncomfortable. My colleague had bed bug bites.

Every ground floor window and door on the front of this building was smashed, with some looking like bullet holes. The breakfast was terrible, having to go and ask at reception for plates and if it was possible to get some cheese to go with the bread on offer. The man on reception at night had a terrible attitude and was very unhelpful. Our sink drainer broke during our stay, as was removed instead of being fixed. Cobwebs on light fittings in dinning area and cleanly visable dust along the perimeter of the hall carpets. Overall a very poor stay, and would not recommend.

It was the worst stay ever. Rude reception, we arrived on Tuesday 1st of August at 12:30 and my friend had an operation so he needed so rest, we told the reception and she said «donc?» which means « so what? » she was very aggressive with her response to everything we ask for. It seemed like they really hate their job at the hotel and they didn’t want to work. No smile and no bonjour and no welcome. The room: Very dirty room. The wall and roof is full of bugs and bug blood. The bathroom was damaged we took a photo and showed the reception but she didn’t care. Location is far away but the metro is across the street. We stayed only one night and we decided NOT to go back again.

Staff are very nice & helpful. This is good point. Everything else, poor. Air vent missing in bathroom fully removed just hole in wall to internal system. Not healthy or safe by your head in shower. Dirty filthy stains marks on walls and skirting. Floor not cleaned properly. Bedding had hairs in it. Very noisy location over trams throughout night even on 5th floor. Nighttime reception host locks himself in on night to be safe because bad area with vagrants. I was locked out for 5 mins on return after 2am and panic. Given my injuries and broken finger hand wrist no wonder even more so.This was not good. But a sign to explain is necessary. I understand he is scared to be attacked on a night there but locking out guests because you perceive they all in bed already not good

Booked a twin room for my daughter and I, was very small but we were rarely in the room other than to shower and sleep. Room was very clean and the hotel in general was very clean. Service by the gentleman on reception was outstanding he was such a nice friendly guy. Ideal location opposite terminus station on Ligne 13 (Les Courtilles) absolutely perfect for getting into Paris. Would definitely recommend staying here and saving yourself hundreds of euros versus staying closer to attractions. Thanks for a brilliant stay

The rooms are fairly small but very clean. It is across the street from the metro and there are a plenty of good restaurants within 10 mins walking. The only con is, even after we had the “do not disturb” sign they would still come knocking at our door at 9:30am. On the morning of our checkout they came at 11:45 asking us when we were going to checkout. We shared with them we would be out at noon since that is the checkout time. The front staff was not helpful and often times aggressive when we did have questions.

Stay clear of the arrogant manager..arrived early told in crude tone not till 2pm!..ok came back during a full argument she was having with her staff. Finally checked in , on the first morning the prepacked cooked microwave breakfast didn't impress my son's , so the second morning I went myself a little late at 10pm after paying 6 X £7 breakfast the dishes were empty .she said breakfast closes at 10..I kindly pointed out it was 10:30..at this point she said you only needed to ask..wow..worst experience of customer service in my 20yrs of traveling..one lift broke. Could be a great place with a professional manager.

The only good thing about the hotel was its cleanliness, even though there was some limescale on the inside of the toilet. But, overall the room was pretty clean and pleasent to stay in. That is where the positives end. The hotel breakfast was a joke, serving little to no food with a very limited choice. Even the things that were supposed to be offered, were not available, e.g., the orange juice run out after one day and for the rest of the week we could only drink the apple juice. The "hot food" offered, like sausages or scrambled eggs were cold and made in the microwave, which was appaling. The lady from the reception also took care of our breakfast, so she was running back and forth between the buffet and the front desk (meaning that one minute she was touching the money or credit cards from the tourist and the next minute she was touching our breakfast, following no sanitary rules). On top of that, the service during the breafast was incredibly rude. When I wanted to use the bathroom, all the toilets were closed so I had to go up to my room. When I came back down I was shouted at by the lady - she was screaming that I could not go in and out of the breakfast and that me and my daughter should come to the breakfast together, not separately. This has never happened before in any of the hotels I stayed in, so I was shocked.

Customer service at the hotel lobby was slow and disrespectful. Our check in lasted 20 minutes, because the cashier was talking to a friend and was unable to work and talk at the same time. The rooms were pretty small, but it wasn’t a big problem since we didn’t spend time in there other than the nights sleeping. The tap water tasted bad, and as a first timer in france i don’t know if it’s the same everywhere or just our hotel. Also the variety in the breakfast buffet was very minimal, so we ended up finding another place to eat our breakfast. Despite of starting this review with the worst, it’s not all negatives when it comes to this hotel. The location was good, since the metro station was just across the road and it made transporting to the central very easy. The hotel overall was pretty clean and fresh. B&B Hotel has a pretty decent price-quality ratio compared to some of the other hotels that may cost much more. Overall it’s an ok place to stay for a few nights, but just don’t get your expectations for the hotel too high.

The hotel was ok. But my sheets were dirty. The type where there is coffee stains on it and the sheet was not washed properly. So I told the lady in the reception regarding the problem, her first reaction was "Are you sure?" then I told her about the coffee stain, she gave me 2 sheets and then what? I do change my own sheets? I should apply as a their staff. And yes, i have to change my own sheets! Also, when I wanted to talk to someone in reception, i have to wait for 5 minutes before someone will notice you. They thought I just like to just stand in front of the reception as a hobby. Overall. not so happy with the service. I only booked it cause it was close to where I want to be. Not coming here.

The location was good, it’s just in front of the tube station. But was it was disappointing was the service. When I booked the room I asked if I could leave my luggage with them the night before the check in and they said yes of course, no problem. I arrived very late to the hotel and at last minute they said no you can’t leave your luggage here in a rude way and they even told us to leave (it was very late at night and we had to run looking for places where we could leave the bags. I would stay there again but I wouldn’t count on them for that kind of things. Also the room was very very small but for the price that I paid it was ok

Hotel very well organised even down to reassuring security. However better for car than for public transport, remember to use Courcelles metro opposite to get to central Paris. Location means that it’s difficult to get to a good restaurant nearby if you don’t have your own transport. Good breakfast and excellent sound/heat insulation. Room perfect temperature.

Our overall experience here was good. Getting here was difficult, but we dont hold the hotel responsible for that. There was a lot of construction in the area but you couldnt tell from inside the hotel, so props for that. Our room was nice and roomy. Breakfast was good except the coffee, that was weak. Again, not their fault as it was made by a machine. The hotel is pleasant and I think once all the construction is finished, it might be a nice area. The metro being right across the street was nice. One other negative was the cost of parking. Our other B&B we stayed at did not charge us for parking. Not sure why this one did.
