If you read some of the reviews of this hotel, they mention bad or non existent air con. But one thinks that there is a no way a 4 start rated hotel has this as a persistent problem. Well, it’s true. The location for this place is excellent - but of no use if you can’t sleep or if your room turns into a furnace because the thermostat is broken.
First night, AC seems to be not working. Go to the front desk - they say do this this and it should be okay in 20 mins. In 200 mins, the room is a boiler.
At 4 AM, go the guy again - Sir, can we pleas get another room? He helpfully offer us, wait for it, A FAN!
Refuse it, he budges, gives us another room. AC still not working, but atleast it is not Dante’s AC trying to send us to the 9th circle of hell.
Day 2 - AC in the other room is still not okay. Guy comes to the room and I show him. He accepts, and apologies and then just leaves.
The safes in both rooms were out of batteries and non-functional. They kindly fixed it upon request in the second room.
Our second room had no clothes hangers. Many small issues that completely degraded the quality of the stay.
This hotel may have the Best Western brand name slapped on it - but make no mistake, it just looks shiny, it’s not a good experience.
