Welcome to Lochaber Lodges a new development of self catering accommodation to rent near Fort William, in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. Our family run site offers you all the personal touches for a great getaway in a stunning location, with the assurance of Visit Scotland 4 star accreditation. Please read our previous guests reviews on Tripadvisor for the reasons as to why we are No 1 for self catering accommodation in Lochaber.

We are situated 7 miles from Fort William on the banks of the Caledonian Canal with uninterrupted views over Aonach Mor and Ben Nevis. This is the ideal location for a tranquil and relaxing break or to rest after a day's sightseeing or sampling the numerous activities within the Outdoor Capital of the UK.

Our two bedroom Escape / Monach range lodges are fully equipped for all year round occupancy, with double glazing and central heating for the colder winter months, and external decking to enjoy the benefits of the long daylight hours in the summer. Our two bedroom lodge includes one master bedroom with full en suite facilities,one additional twin bedroom with access to a shared bathroom with a shower and a spacious with high quality fixtures and fittings. This luxury lodge also include flat screen TV/DVD to lounge and bedroom, integrated dishwasher and microwave and free Wi-fi.

We have washing and drying facilities should you need to dry out after that days biking or ski-ing, and our resident reception team can advise on areas of local interest and available day trips. The following photographs give you an indication of the high specification of our lodges and the stunning local Lochaber scenery. A video of the lodges can also be viewed on our own internet site.

Great views of Ben Nevis, peaceful, clean and neat, Lodge had everything we needed. We even saw some deer in the morning. Pretty country setting not too far from Ft William for grocery shopping. Definitely recommend this place.

It was a comfortable and clean lodge with plenty of space. We loved the master suite with built-in cupboard and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom was cosy with a large cupboard and vanity. The second bathroom had a tub and shower. We loved Islay lodge and the surroundings. Great view of Ben Nevis! We highly recommend a stay here and hope to make it back there one day.

We were greeted on arrival and directed to our lodge. It was spacious, clean, bright and airy. There was ample storage space and the addition of a freezer was very useful during our week long stay. The view of Ben Nevis was uninterrupted and it was a pleasure to watch the changing weather conditions from the comfort of the sofa. We did have a slight issue with the double bed due to the framework sagging in the middle but this was rectified the same day. This was by far the best accommodation we stayed in during a month of touring Scotland and I would happily come again.

Offered everything it advertised. Remote yet only 10 minutes drive from Fort William. Staff were friendly and responsive.. Location is too far to walk to local amenities but superb if you like the peace and quiet. All facilities within the cabin were excellent and we lacked for nothing. Laundry room was well equipped and well used!

Our stay was very pleasant, a very nice natural surrounding, well equipped lodge (for 2 grown ups an one kid quite spacy) - but you must be aware of having to drive a while to get to the next supermarket or hiking trail. Fort William: approx 20 min.

Lovely location, lodge needed a bit of tlc but overall it served its purpose. Owners very good. Lochy Inn excellent for meals. Downside, one room had a dodgy (weedy) smell. Assuming from previous occupancy.

We arrived late at night after a long journey and woke to find snow covered mountains and the caledonian canal very close by. Perfect location just close enough to fort william if we needed anything but also nice and quiet away from everyone. Lodge was very clean and incredibly cosy, the telescope was a nice addition to view the mountains. Will definitely be back.

Clean,comfortable,and convenient to exploring surrounding area. Only negative was the road in and out was narrow and twisting. Stay alert and you will have no trouble. Malcolm was very concerned about everything being just right. Highly recommend.

Beautiful property on the Caledonian Canal. Watched boats navigate down canal from our deck. Place was clean and comfortable. Liked that electricity and use of laundry facilities was free. Manager, Malcolm, was very friendly and helpful. Lots to see & do. Neptunes Staircase and Glen Nevis (Steall Falls) hike. Also did Jacobite Train ride to Mallaig. Ben Nevis Restaurant and Crannog Restaurant were excellent. Beds were a bit tiny for us but not much larger would fit in the bedrooms. Otherwise very comfortable stay.

5 of us stayed at 'Islay' cottage of lochaber lodges and have only just returned. Kieran and Wayne were at hand to answer all our queries with excellent knowledge of the local area. Stay was comfortable, lodge was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The directions on Home away website takes you to another lodge ( Glenloy lodge) which is about a mile away. Also it is listed as Moy farm which is another site altogether. So look out for Lochaber Lodges which is clearly signposted. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We enjoyed our stay at the Lochaber Lodges, a pretty property on a quiet country road. After our very active days, our family of 4 really appreciated coming back to this cabin. The pictures are accurate and the cottage was clean and new. We had a great view of Ben Nevis from our deck and found it to be a great spot to relax. We enjoyed eating a few of our dinners in. The host/owner, Malcolm, was available, as needed, for any questions, at the reception desk and was very helpful directing us to local spots such as favorite restaurants, grocery stores and day trips. Overall, a great trip to Scotland!

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in den Lochaber Lodges verbracht. Das Haus war sehr komfortabel und gemütlich. Alles war sauber und gut in Schuss. Die Ausstattung war soweit ganz gut, die Anzahl von Geschirr und Besteck könnte besser sein. Internet (WLAN) ist hervorragend. Bestens geeignet für Touren in die Highlands, nach Ben Nevis, Fort William und auch Inverness. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.

E.s. war (fast) alles super toll und sehr empfehlenswert. Einziger Makel war das Fehlen von Küchenutensilien. Es gab keine einzige Schüssel und nur abgezähltes Geschirr für vier Personen. Man musste sich gut überlegen, ob man die Spülmaschine anstellt oder per Hand spült. Trotzdem würden wir sofort wieder hinfahren.

Meine Familie und ich haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse auf den Kanal und Ben Nevis war spektakulär. Fort William und Umgebung sind schnell zu erreichen. Fünf Punkte gäbe es, wenn die Ausstattung der Küche etwas besser wäre; so fehlte zum Beispiel ein wirklich scharfes Messer, ein zwei Tassen oder Gläser mehr wären auch schön. Aber das sind nur Kleinigkeiten, die die Urlaubsfreude nicht getrübt haben.
