The bedding and towels smelled lovely.
The headboard banged against the wall quite badly and not even for any good reasons - I was alone. The kettle also didnt work.

Aldourie Guest House is a practical place to stay if you're looking for somewhere to sleep while exploring Fort William. The room was fine and provided everything I needed for a short stay. It is what it is, a guest house, so don't expect hotel facilities. The location is excellent, with the town centre, restaurants, shops, and the waterfront all within a five-minute walk. That convenience is definitely its biggest advantage.
The only downside was that there is just one shared bathroom on the first floor serving six rooms, which can be inconvenient at busy times. Accommodation in Fort William is generally expensive due to high demand, so considering that, this was a reasonable and convenient place to stay.

Location was great, view of the water was lovely. Loud pipes due to the water are definitely daunting. The room is cramped and no place to hang for our clothes after hiking the west highland way was a bit frustrating. However for the price for three nights you complain.
Loud noises. Too cramped for 2 people.
