Hidden gey

On arrival, we found the accommodation nice and clean, the views were stunning, the bedroom and shower room area were of high standards, after settling in the accommodation. We had gone back to our accommodation and found that one of the guests was smoking 🚭 outside, but the smell, a pungent smell, lingered all night. However, the next morning 🌅 the smell was gone, and a fresh smell was present thanks to the cleaners.Other than that the stay was magical and we highly recommend this wee gem 💎 of a place. Thanks

A very pleasant stay with a beautiful lake view, excellent location, and attentive staff who responded quickly to any is

- One of the bathroom lights was not working, and since it was already late (past 6pm), it couldn’t be fixed during the stay. These things happen, and it didn’t affect the experience. Staff replied politely and promptly after reporting the issue via chat.

good location, comfortable and clean with all-important kettle and tea-making materials. Very honest, property carelessly left behind put in the post and arrived safely, thank you so much. Breakfast - at the station cafe, best value in town.

A text message with keysafe code would have helped. Because Of heavy email use I keep it off my phone, but then again a phone call fixed it in no time.

The closeness to the town centre

I rang and spoke to a gentleman called David who agreed with my unhappiness of the room and said I could have a refund of £15 pounds he said he would contact booking. Com I agreed but sadly I have not heard anything I will be contacting Booking. Com myself now to try and resolve this matter

I would stay again.

Arrived to self check in system with number supplied by host to access the key in a key box. No problems with getting the key. House was nice and warm, clean and comfortable. Room and bedding nice and clean. Kettle, tea and coffee in the room. There was a microwave and fridge in the communal dining room.

The decor in the house could do with a bit of updating but overall happy with my stay as the house was clean. No mattress or pillow protectors on the bed.

Proximity to Ben Nevis.

Only 1 bathroom and shower to be shared between 5 rooms. No sink or kitchen facilities provided even in the shared lounge. No cutlery provided even spoon missing from bedroom to make a cup of tea or coffee.

Good location, however very expensive and no kitchen.

Good central location, 5 min walk from the high street, clean rooms, each room has a TV with Netflix. Our room had a lovely view and very clean and spacious ensuite. It was a 6 minute drive from Ben Nevis Visitor Centre which was the main reason we stayed here.

Although I was pleased with parts of the accommodation, the kitchen was non-existent. It was essentially a communal dining room (two tables with 4 chairs), a microwave and a mini fridge. There was no cutlery, dishes, hob/oven, or even a kitchen sink. This was especially disappointing as I was relying on a working kitchen to make food for myself and my family but was tricked into thinking there would be a sink, plates, and cutlery (a kitchen) as written on this booking.com page "shared kitchen". This has prevented me from rating the accomodation any higher as my family then had to go into the town where half the shops were already closed in search of tupperware and wooden cutlery. For the price we paid to stay in this place and the fact the website promotes a "shared kitchen" I was expecting to at least be able to eat the food I'd brought here without having to go out and buy other things. This made the value for money simply not worth it. Honestly, if they had been honest from the start and said there was no kitchen but that they did include a microwave and mini fridge and instructions to bring your own plates/cutlery, this stay would've been excellent, however this dishonesty about the kitchen brought the experience right down. Other than the lack of kitchen the stay was good and if you can afford to stay here and are willing to bring your own cutlery/plates with microwaveable/fridge food and are willing to wash up your plates in the shared bathroom/ensuite if you have one then it might be worth it. However at this price point, and for the expectation of a 'shared kitchen' I would not recommend.

This is NOT a Guest House nor is it SELF Catering.

The room was comfortable, the view was of the loch, the bathroom was well appointed with a surplus of small drawers and cupboards, access was easy, the premsies were central and there was (limited) permit parking available. The room itself was fine for 'one night stands' assuming you were prepared to live out of your suitcase/rucksack etc

This is not a guest house nor is it self catering. A guest house normally has the owners living on the premises and offers breakfast in addition to accommodation. Some do define guest houses differently but would normally offer self catering facilities if not B&B and possibly drying facilities etc but the key is the availability of owners. Despite the premises' board stating that this was a 'Bed and Breakfast' guest house, no breakfast was supplied and no self catering facilities were available. There was a refrigerator and a microwave oven but no cutlery nor crockery nor anywhere to clean dishes etc. There was no shelf space for clothes etc in the bedroom

Its squeaky clean. The top room had a view of the sea. Stairs are narrow on 2nd floor. You better have strength to carry luggage. We were fine with it. Parking across the street. Overall liked cleanliness and proximity to restaurants

Location was close to the touristy part of town. The TV was good. It had good access to movies via Netflix and the like.

The Kitchenette was just a room with tables and a fridge. There were no plates, cutlery or anything other than a microwave to heat things up. There was no one on-site to ensure other guests were quiet after 11.30pm. Toilets were very noisy and the walls very thin, so you could hear what was happening in other rooms. The room was small and there wasn’t much space in the ensuite.

The parking situation wasn't great with only two permit passes that were both taken. Overnight parking is free in the car park that is across the street and I was out most the day so didn't have to pay for a lot of parking. Just something to be aware of if driving.

Shower in the bathroom would not drain so I had to pull the stop out and clean Lord knows whos hair so we could finish our shower and not flood the apartment. It was the smallest room you can. imagine. Definitely no frills.

Location was good. We were close enough to make a short walk to the downtown areas. The walls were painted well.

The property was not clean. The floors were worn out and dirty. You can see where the vacuum stopped and dust and other dirt was at. Nothing was moved to clean under. The dining room chairs were dirty. The furniture was worn out and dirty. There was nowhere to sit in the living room. There was a chair with only 3 legs that was propped in the corner. I included this in the pictures below. The beds were worn out, uncomfortable and sagging. The functional utility was poor because the door was locked between the living room and dining room. If they spend money on new flooring, carpet and beds it would actually be worth the money. The outside was overgrown and not like the pictures.

Not enough seating in living room for number of people staying. Next door neighbour needs to be asked to trim their hedge as u cannot see traffic coming (fast) past the house as u step into the road to cross to the parking area. Quite dangerous.

The house was very clean , and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Short uphill walk from the station.free WiFi.

We are a group of older ladies, we found the steps to the house and the key safe very steep and dangerous with no handrail. The living room only had comfortable seating for 4 , we could not get any channels on the TV. one of the bedrooms was only suitable for a child.
