Nice quiet location
The accommodation was actually a bedroom and living room which was a bonus as we were there for 3 nights. Very comfortable, large bed, excellent shower, enough clothes storage and a lovely breakfast basket replenished daily - plus orange juice, milk and yogurts in the fridge.
Met the hostess who was very friendly and welcoming, otherwise entirely free to come and go as we pleased.
The only downside with our particular room was the heat pump right outside the window. Earplugs were kindly provided but I did sleep badly the first night because of it.

A little home away from home in one comfy room.
Great location. Room is lovely, bathroom is modern with plenty of hot water.
A beautiful continental breakfast provided in the room.
Bed was really comfortable and the room was well heated.

Cold, cramped, and unwelcoming stay with poor heating, no Wi-Fi, and an overbearing set of rules
Nothing
We chose this accommodation in Inverness because it was conveniently located as a stopover before heading to the Isle of Skye. We were only going to stay one night, and although the idea of sleeping in a converted shipping container sounded original, the experience was quite disappointing.
We arrived at night with 1 °C outside. Upon entering the container, we discovered that the heaters were off, so it was practically as cold inside as outside. We tried to turn them on, but they didn’t work. We called customer service, and they promised to send someone with an electric heater.
When the guy arrived, the heaters had just started to work weakly, but even then, it took almost two hours to minimally heat the space. The extra heater didn’t help much either: it took more than an hour to give off some warmth. Unacceptable that an accommodation in such a cold climate doesn’t think to turn on the heating before guests arrive.
The container was very small. We knew this when booking, but in practice it was even more uncomfortable, because with luggage inside there was hardly any room to walk. For one person with a backpack it might be okay, but for two people with suitcases it becomes impractical.
The mattress was sunken and soft, the pillows also poor quality. The bathroom was uncomfortable: shower with curtain and a tiny sink, which splashed everywhere when the water pressure was slightly higher.
As for cleanliness, it was fairly acceptable, much better than the Edinburgh hotel, but nothing remarkable.
Each container includes a small basic kitchen, although poorly equipped. For preparing a quick dinner and a simple breakfast it was enough, but it’s not a space designed for comfortable cooking.
The accommodation advertised Wi-Fi, but it never worked. There was also no breakfast included or any extras to compensate for the deficiencies.

Very nice accommodation in a good area
Exceptionally comfortable room and lovely bathroom. The complimentary continental food basket was very well thought out and the little fridge with milk, juice and yogurt was a nice touch. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

A Peaceful and Comfortable Stay
A Peaceful and Comfortable Stay
I recently stayed at this hotel and had a truly relaxing experience. The room was impeccably clean, which immediately made me feel at ease. The bathroom was modern and well-maintained, with excellent water pressure and thoughtful amenities.
What stood out most was the peace, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The view from the front main door of the accommodation was absolutely beautiful, offering a scenic backdrop that added to the sense of calm. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep.
Overall, I highly recommend this accommodation for anyone looking for a serene and comfortable stay.
While everything met expectations, it would have been wonderful to start the day with a hearty cooked breakfast. A warm, satisfying breakfast offering would elevate the experience and add a welcoming touch to the mornings.

Relaxing surroundings
The apartment was just lovely....it was nice not to just have a bedroom and bathroom. The hallway smelt really clean and new. Nice decor. Great breakfast too.
One hour walk to and from the local chip shop but we chose to walk

Lovely stop
Very clean and spacious property. Loved the lounge, very comfy and great to have somewhere to sit, other than on the bed. I have a good appetite and found the continental breakfast both filling and tasty. Quality Mira shower, similar to what we have at home, was great both in terms of power and temperature.
Around a 10 minute drive into Fort William, which has lots of eateries and is a pleasant town.
We didn't find any nice places to eat within walking distance, 2 places we did walk to, didn't look very nice and stopped serving food by early evening (not a fault Innisfree but you do need to travel further afield and then can't have a few drinks).
Parking actually onsite is limited to only 3 bays and apart from arrival, we had to park on the road the rest of the time, it's not far and is free but it is frustrating when you have to complete on a 1st come, 1st served basis for parking.
There is a bit of a curfew where you have to keep the noise down from 10pm; this is fair enough as I have had a previous bad experience with holiday-makers partying til 4am, which is very unpleasant but 10pm when you are on holiday is a bit early and we felt we had to turn down the TV and start whispering from 10pm.

Comfortable, great place to rest
Room was a little smaller than expected, but liked the arrangement, bed was very comfortable, loved quiet location, free parking was good, room was very clean, hostess was very friendly and shared our enjoyment of hill walking.

Brilliant house, nice and peaceful area and very friendly homeowner, would highly recommend :)
Brilliant house, nice and peaceful neighbourhood in Banavie and a very friendly homeowner that goes above and beyond to make sure everything is clean and that you have a nice stay! Lovely backdrop of the mountains and loch :)
This wasn't an issue for us but as an FYI, the public transport to and from Fort William is quite infrequent so best to research and plan ahead with trains/busses.

Wonderful. Hope to return soon.
This guest house is by far the best we’ve ever stayed in. It was spotless, and very comfortable. A beautiful breakfast basket, with cutlery and crockery required. provided. A fridge with yoghurt, milk, butter and orange juice as well. What more could you ask for?
My only suggestion would be perhaps to have a handrail at the front steps .

A bit too far away from Fort William

Lovely cosy BNB with friendly host but note it is about a 15 minute drive from Fort William
Lovely BNB with friendly and helpful host. Room was warm and cosy and included lots of goodies for breakfast.
The only disadvantage is the BNB is situated about a 15 minute drive out of Fort William so you really need your own car for convenience.

The Lochy pub at Banavie and Neptunes Staircase are well worth a visit!
Stunning location, accommodation was excellent, the owner was lovely! The continental breakfast was a wonderful surprise, we ate breakfast looking at the mountains.

Great stay for one night in a beautiful apartment with views
Had a separate bedroom and living area with great views from the terrace. Everything super clean and stylish. Lovely breakfast basket.

Short stay for sightseeing.
Breakfast: porridge, banana, bread (for toast), chocolate chip roll, bar of chocolate ... supplied in room each day.
Would have been nice to have somewhere to sit comfortably and use laptop, but if you were a business customer, you'd probably be staying in a larger place.

The best guest house in in Fort William
Emma was a lovely host, friendly and thoughtful. Room was beautiful, couldn't have asked for more. Every little comfort had been considered. Breakfast was great, from the compact fridge, including the tasty contents, to the versatile table and chairs. Toaster too was a lovely surprise, who doesn't like freshly made toast for breakfast? Views from the property of Ben Nevis were superb. I would return if I was in Fort William, a definite winner.

Superb
The room was very comfortable and clean, and very tastefully decorated. The hosts were very welcoming and helped me with recommendations and some health concerns. There's easy free parking at the front or on the street. WiFi was pretty good too. It was quiet in the evening which made for a very good night of sleep.
All was good
