Mona`s Hostel

Mona and her son (who answered my phone call) have been absolutely amazing. I think that as travelers, we should support such people who treat tourists with care. The apartment is well-maintained, clean, and has a balcony with an amazing view. The AC worked well and there are curtains for the beds. Guests can use the kitchen. The location is great, just a few minutes' walk from the beach, bus, shops, etc., but still quiet and peaceful. It's possible to leave the luggage there before/after check in/out without extra charge. For me, they were so incredibly lovely to allow me to leave my luggage there for a couple of hours free of charge, even before I had a confirmed booking and wasn't sure if I'd stay the night there. I've met lovely people there who I've made friends with, and it's definitely a great VFM option.

The hostel is on the 5th floor with no elevator. There is only 1 toilet/shower for the whole apartment. The shower doesn't have a door, so it's needed to go over the floor with a mop to wipe the water after using it. The room was a bit crowded when full, with insufficient space to organize and place my stuff.

This is a true old school hostel experience! The vibes in the female apartment is incredible, I was there for only one night and felt at home. Cute old furniture, everything super clean and homey. Mona and her sister are incredibly sweet and welcoming and they do take really good care of the space and the guests!

You need to go up the stairs to the 5th floor, which is no problem if you don’t have a suitcase. The room has AC but when I was there somebody kept it at a very high temperature and even turned it off in the morning. Because of that I actually slept very badly and sweating all night.

E mbrekullushme Service- Fantastic Service and Lovely ladies who own the hostel it is a private property and it’s really neat, clean, comfortable, beds are changed, mattresses are new, Fridge is fresh, Bathrooms are modern for Balkan style. Clean Kitchen and A balcony available for fresh accommodation and air conditioning inside the room for night coolness- Overall it’s a honest and clean hostel it feels like a home or apartment.
