Too expensive for old facilities

Architecture is very interesting, the location is perfect

The facilities are too old, I understand that it is heritage but it’s not comfortable. The old smell of the interior is bad. You have to choose breakfast the night before, we didn’t like that. Really not worth the price, sorry.

Cozy place surrounded by nature

Great location, very peaceful and surrounded by nature. Big, spacious rooms, very warm and with comfy beds. The restaurant for breakfast was also very cozy and beautiful.

Amazing stay, if there is no party at restaurant.

Great size of the room, tidy, great location. The breakfast in the restaurant is incredibly good. Our kid likes the playground, the fountain and the short distance to sea. The beach nearby in Palanga is the best in Baltic's for sure.

We stayed two nights: Friday-Sunday. On Friday there was a the private party in their restaurant nearby the hotel. The music was so loud (with low bass) and it finished at 3 a.m. It was very unexpected since we sought for a calm place. We were told that someone at reception's will work until 10pm, so we did not call. When we left and i shared the experience, I was told that the reception phone operates night hours as well.

Excellent size of the comfortable room with a big balcony. Very quiet location with easy walk to the beach and town. The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained. Delicious breakfast and lots of choice. Friendly and helpful staff.

Very close to the beach

Breakfast until 11 am but they stop refilling food after 10am, and if you come at 10, you might not get to try all. Restaurant was very slow. The facility is not for families with small children, the stairs rail was having huge gaps the a small child can fall through, the same with balcony. No elevator.

Amazing location, walking distance to the sea and all the main attractions. Very good and cozy restaurant.

On Friday and Saturday evening they have live music until 22:00, which was ok. However, the music in the restaurant was very loud up until 23:00, even after calling the reception.

Perfect location, spacious rooms with balconies. Comfortable beds. Delicious breakfast. Lovely receptionist who checked us in and told about history of the building.

A hotel in a prime location

The hotel is very well situated. The beds are very comfortable. It has a lovely restaurant which serves tasty lunch and dinner.

The bathroom was clearly meant to reflect the soviet époque but in essence it could well be modernised.

Comfortable Clean Convenient

This hotel is very convenient to the beach. Park and restaurants. It’s spacious and well equipped. Aurelija was extremely helpful and her English is very good. The breakfast is varied and delicious. Parking is right on the property and secure.

The bathrooms need more hooks. The stairs can be difficult so a baggage man would help. The keys need to be to be cards. These are small things for such a beautiful hotel.

This is not the first time we have stayed at Žilvinas Hotel. Everything is perfect. Comfy beds, historical vibe of architecture and interior. Warm and cozy.

Why I leave 9, is just because of breakfast. Last time it was a self-service breakfast, which has way more selection. Now we had to choose a day before, what we'll eat next morning, and the food was okay, but not complete. For example they serve croissants but no jam. I understand, that it is not season time, but the hotel was already full.

Fantastic rooms and location! Very clean and huge rooms. Ideal to stay with small children.

The hall is a serious health hazard. The handrails and floor needs a panel or something to prevent children from falling. Was very nervous leaving the flat and had to have children in my hands.

Relaxing stay

We enjoyed our stay, room is very comfortable and clean. Staff is friendly and very helpful, accomodating our requests very quickly. Nice and relaxing atmosphere, music, flowers, water feature. Good breakfast selection, tasty. It was nice to seat on beautiful terrace in flowers and to have our breakfast.

Maybe one little note to keep in mind - there is no lift. It was not an issue for us. But it could for some who have walking trouble.

Superb

Spacious rooms, great location, nice and helpful staff, excellent and varied breakfast.

There was no toilet in the bathroom and there was no sink in the toilet area; old wardrobes and room doors that rattled while closing, and the floor creaked - that can be fixed despite that the building belongs to the "heritage" of the original architecture; in addition, the stairs are very unsafe for small children (a few additional vertical bars might not spoil such a "heritage").

Great place to stay in Palanga.

We stayed in a property with two rooms. It had loads of space, kitchenette and a massive balcony. Staff was very friendly, also you can rent bikes at the hotel for a very acceptable price. Location was also perfect, only 5mins from the sea and the pier. The property felt very private as it’s in a different building from reception. Parking was free and the overall price was very good.

Shower drain didn’t work, breakfast options were limited.
