Fabulous break

The location, lovely area and shirt walk to the centre The welcome was warm and friendly. The room and bathroom were so clean and smart The breakfast every morning was the tops , fresh, warm and delivered to the door. Can thoroughly recommend.

A beautiful home

What a lovely place in a lovely location with an easy walk into town. We had a very friendly welcome from Mark and Pascaline and their accommodation is beautiful. The room itself has it's own entrance and is quite large. There are two comfortable beds, table and chairs and a wardrobe. Tea making facilities are also in the room. The room has dual aspect with large windows so it is light and airy. The bathroom is modern and has a large shower. Everywhere is so clean. I love the fact that you can enjoy sitting outside the room and look at the beautiful garden. We had breakfast outside in a morning which was brought very punctually by Mark in a basket. The attention to detail was appreciated and the breakfast was plentiful, too much for us to do justice too. We had two hot croissants each and rolls which were wrapped in a cloth with croissant designs on it. Also boiled eggs in egg cups, yoghurt, meat, cheese, butter and jam in a beautiful pot.. Little bottles of milk and juice and a pot of coffee. It was beautifully presented. If I could give this accommodation more than 10 I would, it is perfect for us.

Lovely, felt at home

Clean and warm, comfortable bed. Quiet outside so slept well during the night. Owners very helpful and kind and provided us with useful information about sites to see and things to do around the area. They also provided us with a beautiful breakfast hamper each morning at a time of our choosing, which contained generous amounts of food and the bread was warm. The eggs were from their chickens and there was homemade jam among many other things including chocolate which was a nice touch. There was plenty of reading material in different languages in the room and also plentiful supplies of tea and coffee. Their friendly cat used to greet us each day. We felt at home.

Ideal location for touring around Ypres and quality venue

A very nice room and facilities. Very friendly hosts and good to chat to. Breakfast was nice, fresh and varied for a continental breakfast. Good safe location for parking my motorbike which is why I booked it and so quiet and peaceful

I stayed here with my son on a walking holiday around the Ypres battlefields and it was absolutely perfect for us. Very comfortable room, great breakfast delivered to the door, own parking space, fantastic shower and bathroom, very nice hosts. Would highly recommend.

Heerlijke relaxte dagen

In een rustige buurt, op loopafstand van centrum vd stad, zeer vriendelijke gastheer/vrouw. Grote kamer en dito badkamer , goede bedden. Heel goed ontbijt, warme broodjes, croissants, melk, jus d'orange, voldoende beleg, eitje. We troffen heerlijk weer en konden buiten ontbijten. Zeker niet onbelangrijk : een eigen parkeerplek voor de deur!
