On our arrival, a bottle of cava and a friendly card were waiting for us. Burn view is very tastefully and comfortably furnished. Everything was super neat. The hosts are very discreet but accessible if you have any questions. The area is very quiet, really something for peace seekers.

Cherry on top would be an easier access and/or view of Loch Katerine.

Superb

We had a lovely stay at Burn View. Sheena and David were awesome hosts. Burn View has so much more kitchen supplies than other self catering accommodations. It is spacious with a big fridge. You can take a beautiful walk there with views over Loch Katrine. Make sure to buy enough groceries as it takes some time to the next supermarket.

We had a very quiet and relaxing stay at this remote location. We could see a pine marten and lots of birds from the living room. Owls are calling during the night. Very clean and comfortable cottage.

Everything was as expected. Great location. Wonderful welcoming. Even got a welcome gift. Such a comfy firm bed. Everything was clean and tidy and all the kitchenware you would need was supplied. Great scenery in front of your door. Your own parking space. We can highly recommend this beautiful place.

Wifi would have been nice if it was a bit stronger. We hoped it was enough to check on our cctv back home, unfortunately it wasn't and missed an alert.

Stunning cottage in a beautiful area

Such a lovely cottage in a beautiful, peaceful area - can't fault this property at all. Sheena and David were great hosts, and the cottage was absolutely spotless. Sheena and David provide all the necessities you need, including coffee/tea, salt/pepper, herbs/spices and all the kitchen utensils you could possibly need. The place is absolutely faultless! We would definitely love to come back again to explore the area more!

Amazing getaway.

Beautiful modern cottage with amazing views! Perfect little getaway. The cottage had everything you could need and want. David our host was very welcoming and made our stay comfortable and loved the lemon drizzle cake. We hope to return soon!

Attraktive Unterkunft, aber man sollte sich überlegen, ob die Lage den Reiseplänen entspricht.

Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, gut geschnitten und sehr ruhig gelegen.

Man ist durch die Lage ziemlich abgeschnitten von der Zivilisation; das kommt, finde ich, in der Beschreibung nicht ganz raus. Das hat zwar auch seine Reize, aber insgesamt empfanden wir es als etwas hinderlich für Ausflüge. Es wäre schön, wenn die an sich gut ausgestattete Küche auch über Öl und Backpapier verfügen würde. Für den durchaus stattlichen Preis hätten wir das erwartet.
