Stunning location, extremely clean. Nice lounge to hang out in with foosball table and plenty of room to have a drink. The breakfast in the historic alm was filling, ample and fresh, with fresh eggs made by the owner. Close enough to town and to Munich airport to stay there the night before a noon flight. The floor in the bathroom was heated!
The room, while very clean and well provisioned, was a little differently configured than I had anticipated. It was two bunk beds and a single bed, which was fine for one night. But really that’s on me as I didn’t read the room description clearly enough. But just make sure what room you are getting. I imagine in high season a lot of
Groups come here for sports.

City, but also convenient if going to Bad Reichenhall
The water from shower space is often flowing to the floor.
