Beautiful place to relax for a couple of days.

Generally nice staff. Some were a little less friendly and it felt like we bothered them when asking for or about something. However, the new help they had at breakfast was very attentive.

Great place to relax and have a private beautiful spot by the lake.

The Location is amazing. The staff is great, very friendly and professional, welcoming, with all he necessary information. The room was spacious and silent. We didn’t hear any noise and everything was beautiful and clean. The deck chairs on the lawn by the lake are fantastic because they give you privacy through the plants and trees, it’s also very comfortable and has a direct entrance to the lake. The breakfast was very nice, especially with that view. The snacks and cake were the most expected time of the day, very delicious.

A couple of things to make it perfect: 1. the side windows in room 20 don’t have any curtains and although it’s private because no one can see you, there’s a lot of light coming in the morning since before 5 am in the summer. 2. Also since it’s the “Dachgeschoss” it’s very hot but the windows don’t have mesh so all the bugs come in. 3. Sadly the great garden experience was shadowed by some very mischievous unsupervised and loud children taking out the umbrellas and dragging them around.

If not impressed by the warmth of the hosts as you enter the building, the proportion size of the rooms, then I suggest that you walk out on to the balcony & be blown away by the surroundings. Before the stay I was in contact with the host and found communication excellent. Her English was excellent, as opposed to my German which is schoolboy from 40 years ago. The area is beautiful, there is a bus stop about 4-500m from the hotel, of which being a guest you get a pass covering lines 1,2,3,4. The town folk are very friendly, thou speak little English, I managed to get by (thanks to their patience and pointing mainly!) The WIFI is both secure & well connected. The proportion of the room was excellent. I an a larger man and usually find myself tripping over tables or bumping into beds. Crashing knees into sinks etc, here none of that, clearly a lot of thought had gone into everything. There is also enough electrical sockets to run a football stadium! I counted 9 (most hotels I see 2 or 3) :) These hosts do naturally, what other hotels struggle to work on. 12/10

Apart from not being able to rate this hotel higher than a 10. Perhaps a multi USB port plug in one of the many sockets? Most electronic devices take them now (that's my preference thou!) Cash is preferred at the hotel, but again the hosts are very flexible (just a warning in advance as, again my preference, I only carry cards)

Beyond expected!

Everything was perfect! Amazing view to the lake, very friendly personnel, very cozy appartment, good breakfast, nice hikes around, etc. We would definitely come back again!

There was weak internet connection in our room (20), might be due to the mountains around. In any case it wasn’t a huge problem. I would also recommend to put pot to the rooms so guests could make some warm drinks/tea for themselves.

Ein traumhafter Aufenthalt mit herzlichem Empfang, außergewöhnlich freundlichem Personal und perfektem Service, bei dem

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach traumhaft! Schon beim Ankommen wurden wir so herzlich empfangen, dass wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt haben. Das gesamte Personal ist außergewöhnlich freundlich, aufmerksam und immer mit einem Lächeln da – man spürt, dass hier mit echter Freude gearbeitet wird. Insbesondere möchten wir Dirk hervorheben, bemerkenswert mit welcher Leidenschaft er sich um die Gäste kümmert. Unser Zimmer, mit direkten Blick auf den Thumsee, war sauber und sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Auch das regionale und nachhaltige Frühstücksbuffet ließ unser (vegetarisches) Herz höher schlagen. Dank der Herzlichkeit und dem hervorragenden Service haben wir uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Ein Ort, an den wir mit Sicherheit zurückkehren werden!

Die Lage ist sehr gut gelegen, nur ca. 7 Minuten nach Bad Reichenhall und nur ca. 25 Minuten nach Berchtesgaden. Der Thumsee ist wunderschön und absolut underrated! Glasklares, türkisfarbenes Wasser. Das Personal war sehr bemüht, hilfsbereit und überaus gastfreundlich! Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und für jeden was Leckeres dabei. 😊

Was für eine wunderschöne Pension. Tolle Lage, wunderschöne Aussicht und jeden Morgen draussen frühstücken mit Blick auf den Thumsee und die Berge. Es fehlte an Nichts. Die Leute/ Angestellte herzlich, das Essen lecker....

Ein sehr erholsamer, sonniger & entspannter Aufenthalt

Traumlage am Thumsee, da ca 40 m höher gelegen und somit immer eine gute Luftströmung. Toller Blick auf den gesamten See und Panorama auf die Berge. Die Gastgeberfamilie & das Personal sind sehr freundlich & kümmern sich um jeden Gast persönlich. Das Frühstück hat alles was man braucht… Frische Semmeln & Brot, Eierspeisen, Müsli und vieles mehr. Mittags gibt es immer selbst gemachten Kuchen 😋 Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und der Garten & die Blumen sind wunderschön. Der Opa der Familie hat ein großes grünen Daumen & ein Herz für die Natur 🌲🍀🌺 Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder😃

Leider flogen an 3 Tagen von ca 11:00 - 14:00 die Kampfflugzeuge durch das Tal bzw. über den Thumsee.

So sieht, bei schönem Wetter, für mich das Paradies aus.

Die Lage der Anlage war hervorragend, dass Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt, vor allem weil es ein ausgesprochen nettes Familienunternehmen ist. Ich konnte dort sogar mein E-Auto über Nacht laden, ohne Blockiergebühr zu zahlen. Es sind zwei Wallboxen vorhanden, dass haben viele Fünfsterne-Hotels noch nicht mal. Eine Pension in der wir nicht das letzte Mal waren. Einfach sympathisch....

Der Fernseher war etwas kompliziert und die Sender alle durcheinander, so dass man lange suchen musste. Da wir diese eine Woche schlechtes Wetter hatten, haben wir ihn des Öfteren gebraucht. Ansonsten war alles sehr schön....

Immer wieder gerne. Klein aber fein!

Bett war super bequem, dadurch das ich am Donnerstag angereist bin, war nicht so viel los was ich sehr schätzte.

Ich dachte die Putzfrau würde nicht kommen wenn die Zimmertüre zugesperrt ist und hätte dafür auch keinen Zugang. Weil normaler Schlüssel, keine Karte. War dann ein wenig verdutzt als doch jemand hier war….

Freundliche Hotelpension mit wunderbarem Seeblick.

Traumhafte, ruhige Lage mit Blick vom Zimmer auf den See. Sehr freundliche Vermieter und Personal. Schönes Zimmer mit Balkon. Sehr gutes, umfangreiches Frühstück. Mehr als genügend Parkplätze.

Gentillesse, disponibilités et honnêtetés des patrons. L'offre de pouvoir prendre des collations et petit plats avec toutes sortes de boissons en dehors des heures d'ouverture de la réceptions. Le petit déjeuner est super complet avec confitures maison, le patron prépare directement selon vos désirs les crêpes, gaufres omelettes, œufs sur le plat et à la coque. Hôtel est situé au bord du Lac Thumsee.
