Bad experience - our money was stolen

This sad our second year at this hotel, we really like the hotel and the location, and the breakfast is great.

This year we had a really bad experience on the last day of our trip. We came back to our room, which was locked, to find that our cash was missing (around 1000 euros). Everything else was in its proper place, even the wallets returned to the bags where they were. When we came to the reception to let them know what has happened, the only reply we got was that they trust their staff, that they have no way of determining what has happened, even alluded to the possibility we have lost money ourselves and trying to blame it on them, and that we should have used the safe. We were very disappointed with them, and this completely ruined our, otherwise great vacation, and we will definitely not be coming back to this hotel ever since we are not feeling safe there again.

Worst hotel experience of my life – complete scam!

NOTHING !

This hotel is a disgrace. From the moment we arrived, we were shocked by the filth: cobwebs in every corner of the room and even in the reception area. Towels are literally thrown in the yard before being "washed" – no wonder we found blood stains on the ones in our room! The bathroom was unusable: mold everywhere, broken tiles, and a shower head that didn’t even work. The so-called “breakfast” was beyond disgusting – cheap food of the lowest quality, hair stuck to slices of salami, and an overall dirty buffet. The swimming pool was full of sand, cracks, and sharp edges where kids could easily get injured. Curtains, bed sheets, pillowcases – all filthy and stained. The furniture looked like it was picked up from a second-hand dump. The pictures on Booking.com are FAKE. The receptionist even admitted they can’t take new pictures because the place looks NOTHING like the glossy images online. Probably AI-generated palm trees, because in reality there aren’t any! When they noticed we were collecting evidence to report them, the staff actually called the police on us. We didn’t even stay one night – the place is a health hazard – but they still refused to refund the €1500 we paid per room. This “hotel” deserves max 2 stars (actually 2 daisies would be more accurate). Avoid at all costs!

Absolutely revolting – should be shut down!

This “hotel” is a disgrace to tourism. The level of dirt is beyond words: cobwebs in every room, mold in every bathroom, blood stains on towels and sheets that were supposedly washed, and curtains that looked like they hadn’t seen a laundry in years. Even the face towels were thrown around in the yard before being used again. The breakfast was appalling – cheap and poor quality, and I even found a hair stuck to my slice of salami. The pool was a trap for children: sand, cracks, sharp pieces everywhere. Inside and outside furniture was old junk, like second-hand garbage. The worst part? The hotel lies shamelessly. The photos on Booking.com are fabricated, probably with AI, because no palm trees or fancy décor exist in reality. The receptionist himself admitted they can’t take photos that match what’s online. When we complained and collected evidence, the staff called the police instead of solving the issue. We left immediately without staying a single night, but the hotel still refused to refund our €1500 per room. This place should be downgraded to 2 margarets at most and blacklisted from Booking. Don’t make the same mistake we did!

Scam hotel – dirty, fake photos, no refunds

Stay away from this nightmare. We booked multiple rooms for 6 nights (€4400 total) and left immediately after check-in because of the sheer filth. The so-called 4-star property is barely worth 2. The bathrooms were disgusting – mold on the walls, broken tiles, unusable shower, and no privacy since the showers had transparent glass (unlike the frosted ones shown in the photos). The receptionist’s “solution”? Take your child to reception while you shower. Absolutely unbelievable. The pool was unsafe – cracked tiles, filled with sand, and dangerous sharp edges. Breakfast was pathetic: low-quality scraps, little variety, and dirty trays. We even found hair stuck to slices of meat. Towels and bed linens had blood stains and were clearly not cleaned properly. What you see online is a scam. The real place looks nothing like the pictures. When we confronted the receptionist, he admitted they couldn’t take actual photos because nothing on-site resembled what was advertised. When we began gathering proof, the hotel called the police instead of addressing our complaints. We never spent a night there, yet the hotel still refused to refund the €4400 we paid. Booking.com should remove this fraud immediately!

The hotel needs renovation. Fix the A/C's. I do not recommend.

The staff was very polite.

The hotel was quite old and needs renovation. The room was too small, given the fact that there was a baby bed for our son. There was some issue with the air conditioner and the air was very humid. Also there was a smell of mold from the air conditioner. These things combined led to us all getting sick and so we had to leave earlier. No one suggested to refund at least some portion of the money, given the inconvenience. The breakfast was mediocre at best. Also, there was not enough storage space in the room. The beach in front of the hotel was not nice - the water was very murky and not pleasant for swimming. I know that this is not the hotel's responsibility but I just share my personal experience.

Great stay

The staff was amazing, the lady that served the breakfast, the receptionists, everyone. Every day our room was clean and with with new sheets. Good breakfast, great beach. Great food and drinks from the beach bar - especially the cocktails and the pizza.

The furniture is old, everything you see on the photos imagine it was used 10 years and this is the real picture. The sunbeds are old and uncomfortable too. The location is 20 mins walking distance from Potos.

Not good value for money

The location is good, not far from Potos downtown and some nice beaches. The breakfast was good and the stuff are really nice.

The hotel doesn't really look like the pictures on booking. The actual rooms are in poorer condition then presented on the pictures and the biggest minus is the glass bathroom door which doesn't give a person enough privacy. The shower equipment should be renewed.

Very disappointing from multiple aspects

The Outdoor pool is excellent. The water in the pool was clean but very cold. The private garden has tables with chairs where you can hang out anytime during the day. The beach is very close, at only 100 meters away.

1. Staff: None of the hotel staff have any decent level of English language communication - we waited for more than 40 minutes at the reception until the receptionist finally understood we have a booking with them. Most of the staff seems newly hired, not even knowing the available facilities at the hotel: on our first evening we hanged out in the hotel lobby and asked for them to turn the lights on. they searched for tens of minutes on how to turn on the lights in the lobby and eventually had to call the manager. 2. Rooms: The booking.com description of the room clearly states "rooms on first and second floor have partial sea view". initially we were offered rooms on the upper floors with no balcony and no sea view at all. we had to escalate and argue with the hotel manager to obtain what we have booked and paid for. Due to what seems a lack of investment over the last years, many quality issues have arised - the door lock was broken and had to be changed while we waited; the bathroom drain clogged and water was overflowing and we had to call in a repair; the bathroom faience (tiling) and the bathroom curtain had mold on them; the power sockets were not secured into the wall and were hanging loose outside; the lighting spots above the bed were not secured in the ceiling and were hanging below by 10 to 15 centimeters 3. Cleanliness: Throughout the entire stay the bathroom presented a terrible, insupportable smell. Almost every day we had some items missing from the bathroom after room service: either we were missing the soap; either we were missing one of the towels We have captured photos of all of the above for necessary proof

The beach is located directly behind of the pool. Nice restaurants with good kitchen near on the beach. Double suites on the ground floor have the direct exit to the garden.

Transparen glass doors and glass walls in bathroom. The door in the bathroom in the junior suite was broken. Only one power socket is available, better bring the outlet extension.

Clean sheets, big parking lot, friendly staff, decent breakfast, free sunbeds. All in all, if you're just looking for staying on the beach, this is one of the places to stay in Thasoss.

We've been moved to another room the first day we came and it had a mold smell, then we changed rooms again and we were offered a suite but it also smelled of mold. The breakfast was shared with wasps. The bathrooms have no windows and the air conditioning in the baths is non-existing.

Πολυ ευγενικό προσωπικό, υπέροχη τοποθεσία διπλα στη θάλασσα, καθαρό και ανετο!

Το ξενοδοχείο βρίσκεται σε υπεροχο μέρος. 1 λεπτό από τη θάλασσα και 3-4 λεπτά οδήγηση από τον Ποτό. Ήταν πολύ καθαρό και φροντισμένο. Το πρωινό είχε πολύ μεγάλη ποικιλία και ήταν όλα περιποιημένα. Τα δωμάτια ήταν ευρύχωρα και καθαρά (καθημερινά υπήρχε υπηρεσία καθαριότητας). Κάναμε διακοπές με το 3 μηνών παιδί μας και ήταν πολύ βολικά όλα. Ιδιαίτερα όμως θελω να αναφερθώ στο προσωπικό. Μας βοηθήσαν πάρα πολύ, και ιδιαίτερα με δεδομένο πως ειχαμε μικρό παιδι. Μας δώσαν ότι χρειαστήκαμε για τη μικρή, μας προσφέραν κεράσματα και οτι χρειάστηκε για την διαμονή μας εκει (έξτρα κουβερτες, πετσέτες, καθαριότητα) και ήταν πολύ ευγενικοί! Ειλικρινά ευχαριστούμε πολύ όλα τα παιδια που εργάζονται στο ξενοδοχειο, από τη ρεσεψιον, το μπαρ, το σερβις, το πρωινο και τη καθαριότητα! Επισης, η πισινα ηταν πεντακάθαρη, η πιο καθαρη που εχουμε κολυμπήσει!

Γενικα όλα ήταν πολύ καλά. Αν πρότεινα να αλλάξει κατι θα ήταν ο φωτισμός στα δωμάτια (πολύ αδύναμος) και στο μπάνιο (στη ντουζιερα πρακτικα ανυπαρκτος). Όμως οκ, μικρή λεπτομέρια.
