Place where you can enjoy quiet moments

Setting is amazing. One of those places where nature and humans coexist seamlessly. Food was exceptional, beach as well. Proximity to the big city and yet secluded.

Best romantic getaway

Amazing location. Tucked away in a small bay, but still close enough to a nice town. The bungalow format is great, houses are well spaced out. Great beach with fine sand. Amazing for a couple's getaway. Lots of privacy and cozyness. Stunning views. Friendly staff who don't get in your way. Ample parking. Variety of amenities. Very nice pools and lounge areas.

Not really a dislike, the food was ok, but this place creates a higher expectation for variety of menu.

Nice beach, the rest is below expectations

Beach is one of the best ever!

The beach sand was not clean, and there were many wasps, making it impossible to enjoy eating outside, a major drawback. The shower had very low water pressure, and there was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. In addition, there were no activities for children over the age of three. Overall, I would not choose to return.

There is no bell boy , mini bar is totally empty :) , restaurant is very small, there is always queue , and of course bee , all area is full of bee :)

Beautiful nature and the sea, poor service for this price and the declared level.

I chose the hotel through booking Since I travel a lot and use reviews when choosing hotels, I also want to leave an objective review for others. Pros: -one of the best beaches on the island of Thassos. Really very beautiful nature around, a comfortable gentle, shallow beach, which is convenient for families with children. -smartly thought out reserve of sunbeds for the duration of your stay at the hotel (no need to run and take sunbeds) -beautiful nature around and well-kept hotel grounds -great view of the sea from the room (in my case) -good design and renovation of the rooms (separate bungalows)

Cons: -the service does not correspond to a 5-star hotel -I arrived at the hotel at 7 am (I booked a room a day earlier, so the room was ready for check-in in the morning). I had to drag 5 large suitcases up the mountain myself. When I asked about a golf cart or a car, I was told that it was only from 8 am. - a huge number of wasps in the hotel and on the beach. It is impossible to eat outside. We were told that it is this year, but some measures must be taken. - ants in the room - it was impossible to leave even an apple on the table - long awaiting at the entrance for breakfast and dinner because there is not enough space for everyone inside, and no one sits outside because of the wasps - the quality and choice of food, the level of service of the waiters does not correspond to the level of 5 stars and the declared cost of the hotel (level of 3-4 stars) - there are clearly not enough waiters and they are poorly trained - I have something to compare with.

Wonderful beach and nature! Helpfull staff! Pristine water! 🌞

The private beach with white sand and pristine water, the green nature, the suites with sea view, the staff and the food! Serene atmosphere, no music on the beach, perfect place! 🌞 All the staff is smiling and friendly! Thanks to Stella, Angela, Sarah from reception, Dimitra, Marina etc from the bar and everybody else! Very close to the town, 5-8 min by car.

The wasps... Expensive, if you want a sea view suite... No shop inside the resort.

Great location

The beach was very close to our room, the staff extremely smiling and friendly, the quality of the other guests who were staying at this location, phenomenal desserts, the view is worth every penny, every room has allocated sun loungers.

We had the half board package and the dinner did not even include a glass of water.

Great location and environment, cleaning of room and changing of towels everyday, very posivitive and cheerful stafs, nice beach and dedicated sunbeds, great mix of variety at breakfast and dinner, having daily coffee and tea at room, big and comfortable room

no free of charge beverages at dinner, would be nice at least main ones like water, coke,.etc for such price level place.

The bungalows are in a beautiful forest with great views! They have animals around and it's very peaceful and picturesque.

I expected more of their pool and the children area. Same for the food - it was fresh but lacked variety.

Best hotel and beach on Thassos

Great place to stay with children and pets. We loved the fact that we had our own chairs on the beach. You get a key at the begining of your vacation. We loved that we had a big park to walk our dog. The beach is fabulous, for Thasos, since it has soft sand and great water. You also have what to do on the beach. You can rent water bicycles with slide or do water ski. The food was great. You have lots of food to choose from. You also have a tavern to eat for lunch. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. We'll definitely come back.

Disappointing , only 10% sea view in the distance

we booked a sea view room, but all bungallows are quite far from the sea, up on a hill and have the view obstructed by trees, it’s actually a forest view. not suitable for babies with a stroller because there are too many stairs in the garden alleys with no ramp for the stroller , on the way to the beach and the restaurant. for the half board ( breakfast and dinner) 200 euro a day , they do not give you even a glass of water... no drinks included. they don’t have a gym... food is average, far from the greek cuisine standards

Good but needs improvements

First of all the food was great! Every breakfast and dinner was 10/10 with big variety of dishes we enjoyed every bite we had at the main restaurant. The location is amazing. Beautiful beach with crystal clear water surrounded by beautiful nature and bird sounds. Also on check in you get a key for your own sunbeds locked for your whole stay which is also a convenient option they provide. The hotel is very close to the village where you have many restaurants and bars if you want to go out. The staff was very kind and positive all the time. Taking care of everything we asked with a smile. 10/10 for the staff too.

First thing that felt a bit weird was that they don't provide your room with drinking bottled water. In every hotel we stayed we always had water as a complimentary not only but in many places coffee and tea too. When we asked about the water the receptionist react like we ask about a bottle of champagne. The Wi-Fi at the room was the worst! 80% of the time we didn't had Wi-Fi which is crazy in 2022 in a hotel at this price range. The food at "The Tavern" (which is not included in your all inclusive option) was not that good at all. Specifically the sea food on grill can't rate it more than 3/10. The french fries with oregano are the best! We never felt completely clean in our room... from day 1 till the end of our stay almost every time they changed our towels with fresh "clean" ones they came with a piece of black hair... On check in there was hair in bed sheets also. The quality of the bed sheets is not that good too I hope they improve it in the future.

Very nice place to visit, but not very small child friendly.

The location is very beautiful, friendly staff and very good food in the restaurant and tavern

the housekeeping was not very good. The first three days they came in our room to clean at around 15:00 in the afternoon, right when the baby is sleeping. The cleaning itself was not any good as well. Also an apartment suite lacking doors inside is a bit strange for my taste.

Splendid resort, everything was perfect - nice beach & sand, the bungalow was cosy, the food delicious, excellent service! The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Thassos island is very green, calm and beautiful.

It was to expensive for the services offered by Makryammos.

The Beach was very clean , Nesspresso in room so that we could drink the coffee in silent on balcony , Perfect sand , Water is not dip at all , Children can make bath without being in danger , Lifeguard all the time

I didn't have hot water for 3 days , I stayed 10 nights and the breakfast was daily the same without changing a single thing which is not ok , the food was not so great in the dinner , we didn't have the possibiliy to change dinner with launch and we were blocked in the resort , the cleaness in the room was rather poor in one day the room maid came at 16:00 P.M., the water exit from the shower cabin and so on....
