Comfortable, attentive and beautiful.

Super clean and aircon worked a treat. Staff were really attentive and easy to communicate with. They provided competitive excursions for us and the free shuttle into Ubud was a great bonus! Location was beautiful, didn’t see or hear other guests felt totally private.

Door to toilet was a bit creeky so kept waking up other half in the night but not a big deal! Pool was a bit leafy, would be nice if they left a net so we could fish out dead bugs and leaves daily but appreciate that the nature of the jungle!

Amazing villas

Our stay was amazing, the staff was excellent and attentive. Location is perfect with a great view of the jungle. Our villa was very comfortable and clean. The staff took a lot of time and care to ensure everything is clean, even wiping the windows regularly. The garden is well taken care of. Outdoor bathroom was amazing with privacy, definitely recommend. If you like wildlife, this place would be for you. You can see plenty of birds flying around, frogs, lizards, and nighttime favourite-fireflies! Yes there's the occasional squeaky floor, but didn't bother me, I like the villa was so authentic Balinese style, it was beautiful. Breakfast was good and plenty to keep you going. Staff was more than happy to accommodate any special requests. Going back to staff, they were excellent, attentive and so prompt to respond and action any requests. When messaged on WhatsApp super quick to respond. At some point our aircon was playing up, they responded and came to check within minutes and called an engineer straight away to get it fixed. Special thanks to Rumini and Muliana who have been so attentive and kind throughout our stay and genuinely caring. All the staff has been so good. Looking forward to visiting again 🥰

Mandana a must visit

Mandana Villas are absolutely beautiful. The private infinity pool overlooks the rainforest/jungle and the view is breathtaking. You can really immerse yourself in nature in the beautiful secluded space. The room itself is clean and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is outdoors which we had not experienced before but we loved. Being in the jungle, you are going to encounter wildlife. We loved witnessing all the beautiful butterflies, interesting insects and slugs and of course our little frog and gecko friends! We used mosquito repellent on ourselves for outdoor time, but we rarely got bitten and it wasn't a problem for us at all in our villa. Mandana has a good in villa breakfast and main meal menu selection as well as floating breakfast option which was amazing. You have a full spa menu for treatments in your room. A daily shuttle to take you to the main district of Ubud centre and then pick you up to come back and they also offer day trip packages! All of the staff are so wonderful, kind friendly and caring! We loved speaking with them each day and they all made our stay seamless. A special shout out to Lily, the beautiful puppy dog who lives at reception!

Amazing forest honeymoon spot!

Fantastic villa, and amazing service! We felt very taken care of by all staff, who were extremely responsive, pro-active, and helpful. The aesthetic is beautifully put together, the pool is lovely, the massage therapists were amazing and very reasonably priced. We had a really relaxing honeymoon here and would highly recommend

The restaurant menu could have a wider variety and be slightly more tasty compared to other fantastic food we had in the Ubud area. In addition, some small touches like a full length mirror and a bit more lighting inside the villa would be nice. Finally, there's lots of bugs around the area that also get in the villa. Most of them are tiny and harmless, it didn't bother us much and it's understandable given it's in the middle of the forest, but it's just worth noting for those who might not be able to deal with them. All minor things at the end of the day!

It’s quiet and peaceful in the surrounding area. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. There’s a free shuttle to tegalalang or Ubud once a day based on our needs.

Wonderful staff, beautiful pool and hotel room view, clean traditional style room and delicious food

The staff were friendly and our room was very clean. Beautiful location, with our room overlooking the jungle vegetation. Great food too!

The only thing we didn't like was how loud our pool fountain was. Everything else was perfect.

A bit far from city centre but this wasn’t an issue for us as we were driving around to do different activities with our little one. Bed a bit firm but again this is a personal preference.

True Balinese romance and complete privacy.

We traveled across Bali through the island. This accommodation was one of the most expensive we stayed in. And it must be said that it was also the most private and peaceful place we experienced—there was complete privacy and absolute silence. The only sounds we could hear were those coming from the jungle. It was truly breathtaking. The level of quietness here was something we hadn’t encountered anywhere else on Bali. We had complete privacy, which meant we could even swim naked in the pool. The breakfasts were excellent. Another great perk was the daily shuttle service to and from Ubud, which was really convenient.

We had a geco behind bed and it was realy noisy - one night we slept outside, in front of pool😀 But this is nature.

3 dream days in Mandana Ubud Villa.

We spent 3 dream days at Mandana Ubud villa: the place is incredible and corresponds to the photos on Booking: super beautiful infinity pool facing the jungle, a very clean villa, all wood and very pleasant. The bed is very comfortable with a large mosquito net, and the outdoor bathroom with shower and bathtub is heavenly. The staff have an exceptional sense of service: very smiley, on hand to answer all our questions and organize full days of sightseeing with driver to visit the surrounding area, restaurant recommendations with free shuttle to go into the center of Ubud. I highly recommend the floating breakfast and massages. We will return to Mandana Ubud Villa with great pleasure. It was a dream stay. Mathilde and Clément

Amazing!

Beautiful property. Relaxing and secluded. The private pool was amazing. Staff was friendly and helpful. I was communicating with the property via WhatsApp prior to arriving and they were very professional and timely in their response (Rumini specifically). Unfortunately, some of the staff did not speak good English but we still managed to communicate. We had issues with our air conditioner and they promptly and came to fix it. I loved that you could get good quality food to your room for a very good price! They had driver and sightseeing info and tours available in the hotel info book.. We booked our rides through the front desk and were very satisfied. Our family had a lovely time in the villa. We are definitely planning to come back. Some of our friends are looking at staying here after seeing our photos and videos from the Villa.

Nothing that we did not like. We felt very welcomed and safe throughout our stay. A couple things to note: We had a minor issue trying to pay with a credit card at the property it kept asking for a pin but we have no pin. Their payment link did not work as well. Thankfully, they let us settle in and pay later, which we did. Having arrived with a little baby and the heat we appreciated this act of kindness.

Amazing view from the villa to the jungle. Friendly staff, who handles extra requests very well. A little out of the way from the busy streets of Ubud. Good breakfast!

The best stay you could ever imagine

Mandana Ubu Villas has been one of the most wonderful and incredible experiences of all my life. We decided yo stay there for three nights during our honeymoon trip, and we wished have been stayed for longer. Everything there was perfect: the flower decoration of the villa (that was a surprise for my wife), the incredible breakfast with floding tray, the swimming pool with stunning views to the jingle, the relaxing massages de hired through the services offered by the villa, the food, the incredible decoration of the room, the environment... but above all what made us fall in love with Manadana Villas was the warm and kindness of Rumini and Dedik, the people in charge of the villas. They made us feel increidbly good since the first minute, making sure our stay there was unforgettable. We have just ended our stay there and already planning to come back again

Exceptional stay!

This was a fantastic stay for my friend and I. We thoroughly enjoyed our private pool and even got a floating basket for breakfast one morning which was excellent. The staff were very attentive and always happy to help or assist us at any point. On arrival, we had a detailed introduction to the villa’s facilities and reminded about keeping doors shut in case any wildlife chooses to enter which luckily didn’t happen for us (although, if this was to happen, we were able to call the staff using a phone they have provided to come and assist straight away). The location was just outside of the town which meant it was quiet and peaceful, perfect for what we wanted but also only a short journey into Ubud town centre. I would highly recommend this hotel and my friend and I would definitely stay again.

Go to Mandana Villa to feel like king and queen

Mandana Ubud villa was a dream come true. The villa is so beautifull. The private pool is very nice. There is a lot of privacy. The staff is so so so kind. They do everything to make you feel like king and queen. The last day was my boyfriends birthday. They made a little cake en brought it with a candle. So sweet. They offer free drop off en pick up service to Ubud center which also feels very safe and nice. We did a daytour with a private driver from the hotel, Sentana. We want to thank him for the wonderfull day and car trips. He is the most sweet, kind, helpfull and funny person/driver we could have wished for.

Beware: We got bed bugs from here!!!

Update: the mosquito bites I was writing about below turned out to be bed bug bites!!! Unfortunately, the villa didn't meet our expectations. So first of all, this is not a hotel, this is basically a serviced villa (complex). Therefore, completely overpriced and the stars on Booking.com are misleading. Staff doesn't speak English well, they often struggled the explain simple things. We didn't have a single chair in the room to sit on, nor a working space. On the porch only a table with 2 chairs and no other sitting facilities. It looks like the receptionist is the butler and the housekeepers in one person: the same person is answering the phone, making the table, bringing the food into your villa and also doing the cleaning. Related to the cleaning, at first I was impressed that the villa has a good and clean smell and etc., but then I realized they spray over the bedsheets and the mosquito net with some air freshener spray, even the pillows, which made me cough. After the spray smell is gone you can feel how bad smelling are the linens. They are also stained. Breakfast choice poor and also not the best., only 4 options to choose from. No sunbed mattress, it's ridiculous not to have it for almost 200 usd/night. The reception extremely run down. No security, etc. A lot of insects. We have been to other jungle hotels, where they have nice solutions to keeping the insects and mosquitos away so it's an absolutely solvable issue, however, Mandana ubud villa doesn't seem to be interested in solving this problem. I know the answer going to be something like "if you are in the jungle you have to expect insects, etc." Yes, you have to, but as I said above, I have been in other jungle hotels in Ubud and none of them had this much bugs, because they had solutions for it! (incest, electric bug repellents of all type, offering free bug spray, etc.), I was practically eaten alive by mosquitos, even tho I used repellent.

Everything about it was stunning. Most beautiful bathroom ever and the private pool was HUGE! We will definitely be staying here again. The staff were incredibly kind and made us feel at home.
