Excellent, quite and luxurious villas best for visiting with family and friends.

Very courteous staff. I left my clothes behind. They sent it to my next destination. The breakfast was excellent. Very spacious villa.

Looks like the pest control was not done. We saw multiple lizards and cockroaches. The cutlery was old and stained.

False advertising, and poor management, this a stressful stay and a poor holiday choice.

It's a normal room, and there are very normal services from the host.

Our stay in the Deluxe Room and Four-Bedroom Villa was disappointing due to false advertising. Many promised amenities, like the dishwasher and iron, and hair dryer were missing. The kitchenette lacked basic utilities, and there wasn't even a microwave to reheat food. The property is far from town with no local dining, yet the host requires food orders a day in advance with very limited breakfast options. Safety and hygiene were major concerns, including a fire-hazard kettle and cats in the kitchen. WiFi was weak, drinking water was scarce, and the living area lacked AC. Furthermore, the bicycles and afternoon tea were poorly organised. This stay was inconvenient and poorly managed.

Excellent Service

The hotel room was spotless and well-organized. Spacious with a pleasant, relaxing vibe. I slept really well. The staff’s hospitality was outstanding. We also tried their spa, which was excellent. The entire place had a soothing fragrance of incense, and the view of the paddy fields was simply breathtaking.

The only thing that could be improved is the food selection. Breakfast options were limited, but the food itself was delicious.

I really enjoyed my stay here, the villa was peaceful, clean, and surrounded by beautiful rice fields. The staff were kind and always ready to help, and the food at the restaurant was lovely. It had such a calm, authentic Balinese feel which made it a great place to relax.

The massage itself was good and relaxing, but the overall spa atmosphere could have been a little more calming. It would’ve been nice to have some spa music and soothing scents to create more of a full spa vibe. Also the location wasn’t great as it was very hard to get to places by foot .. not even a shop near by to go grab something quick. Everything had to be done by taxi or delivery.

I loved the size of the room and the outlook onto the pool. The staff were absolutely lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful.

The facilities were a bit rough around the edges. The basin was stained and the pool missing a few tiles. The place was a little isolated which was great but you definitely needed a driver to get there and get out.

Location is in hill somewhere no where Very inconvenient even you can ride the bike but the road is small and dangerous not really great. And open the windows someone just live near you outside of the villa can staring at you as well so awkward Pool is very tiny Hard to order food cuz everything all too far Not suitable with little kids they very easy to fall off in the room. Breakfast very limited options small portions too And is not tasty at all……. But staff very friendly

Great place but could be better

The staff were amazing. They were very nice and helpful. The food was also great. The Messi goren that I had was better than in most restaurants.

The room was noisy. Old fridge that made noises that kept waking me through the night. The air freshener was also a nuisance. Because of the room being on the ground floor people passing by was not helpful. I used the laundry service and it wasn't the greatest. The clothes were not well dried. TV didn't work and the internet was a nightmare. Location wise it is far from the ubud centre and grab drivers kept rejecting my request which is something to consider if you want to go to the centre. But otherwise, it was a great place to stay and I enjoyed my stay.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is absolutely perfect, close to everything I needed. My room was very spacious, extremely clean, and comfortable in every way. The service was excellent throughout my stay. What really stood out to me was the kindness and professionalism of the staff — everyone was so friendly, polite, and always ready to help with a smile, no matter the time. A special thank you to the reception team, who made me feel genuinely welcome from the moment I arrived. Your hospitality made a big difference. I had a very nice room! Upper floor above the spa! It were peaceful with the view on rice field! Everything is a good quality for the value of money. I recived a good care from the staff! It is about 20 min drive from center which is a beautiful ride and super easy with taxi car and scooter! Nice queue location! Now moved to another place in Ubud and I appreciate my stay in Kubu Bali even more!

4 bedroom villa with fantastic view!

I love the view of the villa, it looks like heaven! The people are very accommodating and kind. There is a cute stray cat roaming around the place, if you ever meet her - please give her food! The villa is spacious!

Location is a little bit far from everything, with Grab or Gojek will take 30-40 minutes. The breakfast sometimes comes with a 'surprise'.

Property is 8 yrs new. The concept of being in the rice field is interesting. Very quite. But about 20 min from Ubud center.

The bad thing was that they don’t have international TV. Not too much English or French languages, mostly Indi shows. It get boring and should not be left to foreign customers to discover. We needed to follow up on news home and did not get it for more than 5 nights there

Amazing location in ricefields, 20 mins from Ubud but only book rooms on LEFT (room 3 for eg)

The rooms on the left as you enter are great - rooms 3 and 11. On the right the rooms have very little view - which is insane when you're in the middle of an amazing rice paddy. I insisted we move rooms and was then very happy. The pool was great, the location is very special to me - as I stayed in the tiny balinese joglo (antique house) next door to Kubu Baik, 10 years ago. It's totally away from the busy vibe of Ubud, but only 20 mins to go in and have adventures or shopping.

Pillows were hard - but I found that almost everywhere I had to request soft pillows. The staff were kind but very limited in English - so just be aware if that's an issue for you. Food was a bit bleh. They try hard eg salmon eggs benedict - but it doesn't work! Simple would be better. Mostly I ate food in Bali that blew my mind with deliciousness - so after that a crappy toasted sandwich is a let down! Having stayed 2 luxury villas with my own private pool and privacy and been OVERLY delighted, I felt it doesn't make sense Kubu charge the same price - when they just can't deliver on it. So nothing BAD, just that I know what you can get for that same price!

Villa with the nice view. No respect for customer. Bad management

My first impression was good, the villa has beautiful and aesthetic scenery.

When I came there, my reservation was rejected, because the villa was already full-booked. I was shocked by it because I successfully booked the villa in the morning, but they didn't send me any information due to the villa's status. I told them about it but their response wasn't helpful and unpleasant. They said the mistake often happened because of the system error and human error which sounded stupid. I really hope they can fix this. What an unfortunate and terrible experience. We had driven far away from Denpasar to your villa and it was raining heavily. On the other hand, they didn't give us any compensation and only offered us to move to another villa. Great villa but bad handling.
