Anumana Village Ubud

Beautiful location just out of town but still pretty close, super quiet and still surrounded by rice fields without any of the noise and craziness of in town.

If you didn't have transport you might find it a bit far but if you have a bike or order gojek / grab cars / bikes its super easy

The property itself was lovely, lush, and full of intricate statutes and gardens. The ambiance and the amazing staff there were unbeatable! It’s also somewhat close to the center of Ubud, but you’ll most likely need to take the free hotel shuttle if it’s before 5pm or hire a Grab if it’s after 5pm. The shuttle was such a nice touch, too.

We had the two-bedroom villa with pool and, while it was gorgeous on the outside, the inside of the rooms were outdated and had a bit of a smell (insect repellent). There was also many unwanted critters in the room, specifically ants, lizards, and mosquitos. The staff was kind enough to spray, but at night it was a bit scary thinking you’d be constantly bit by mosquitos. Also, ventilation in the rooms are very poor. Nearby farmers were burning their fields and inside our rooms it smelled smoky and burnt… very hard to sleep. Lots of animal noises too at night, but they give you air buds. For the price of this property, I would think the rooms would be better insulated and decorated and kept up.

Excellent service, cleanliness, organisation (of check-in transport from airport, breakfast, massage and tours). Thanks particularly to the restaurant staff Budi who served us during our stay, and our guide Wayan. Extremely comfortable and pleasant stay, nice rooms and pool as well.
