Heaven in Ubud

Amazing villa and even more amazing staff. Absolutely beautifully designed house with a perfect private pool. It's even better than the photos. We had the best four days and didn't want to leave. Nothing was too much trouble for Angus, he and his colleagues helped us so much. From booking in house massages and booking Kadek our fantastic driver, nothing was too much trouble. The cafe at the end of the road Mango Cafe was exceptional, we were there every day. We were lucky to have monkeys visit us on the first morning too. I would return in a heartbeat. Thank you everyone at Uma Tirtha!

Beautiful and peaceful stay

I had the most amazing stay at Uma Tirtha. The staff were honestly incredible, Ketut was super attentive and kind. The villa itself was absolutely beautiful, super clean and peaceful, with everything you could possibly need, the location was great being close enough to everything but still tucked away enough to be relaxing and quiet. Mango cafe just outside the villa was amazing again with great staff. One of the highlights was the Monkeys that would come right up to us, such a cool and unique experience. I couldn’t recommend this place more, I’d definitely stay again

Better places around. With restaurant and better care of facilities.

Location was excellent, 10 min from Ubud center by car. Staff was good and attentive.

Parking was terrible. The entrance ramp for cars was made of loose stones and mud instead of proper cement, and our car got stuck trying to go up. The driveway was extremely narrow, surrounded by slum-like areas and construction trucks, with no space to maneuver. Overall, a very bad experience just arriving. The room itself wasn’t clean — there was dirt in the shower — and at night, wild animals got into the bathroom. It turned out to be a large gecko (about 50 cm long), but it’s definitely not pleasant to step into the shower and be surprised by something like that.

Gorgeous Villa and beautiful swimming pool

The Villa and its swimming pool are excellent, the staff were very friendly and welcoming and they kept the Villa very clean.

Location was a little out of town, had to take taxis all the time. There were lizards in the downstairs bedroom every night.

Great Location, beautiful Villa that comes with a price.

We were staying in the 1 bedroom Sanctuary Villa. The villa offers a spacious, clean, functional Bedroom, a beautiful bathroom and very cool (temperaturewise) pool. Communication with the Owners was easy via Whatsapp. Even a small misunderstanding (we missed an additional bed for our son) in the beginning could be resolved easily and quickly with the Housekeeping on-site. The locatiion is great. It feels like the middle of the jungle but is only a 10 minute drive aay from busy Ubud centre. The Mango Cafe which offers great breakfadt is just a 2 minute walk away.. You will need some sort of transport to get around from the villa.

The size of the Room, the cleanliness, the breakfast options, the service were all excellent. The staff were especially attentive and were prompt to address any concerns.and requests. The stay felt smooth and cozy.

Gorgeous villa

The stunning view from the balcony, the pool, the huge settee and dining table. Cafe mango is only a short walk.

They need to provide a spare key at the outset. They lent me one but took it back the next day without my knowledge. Fortunately they gave it back to me in time for us to go out. Air con also leaking water. They sent someone to check but it remained leaky.

Lovely villa, close to Ubud

Stunning villa, well equipped with everything we needed. The pool area is gorgeous.

The staff were a little lacking at times, not always available when we needed help or didn't reply to WhatsApp messages. The location is quite remote so you do need to get taxi's everywhere. Breakfast options were limited and don't count on them arriving at the time you ordered.

Beautiful and quiet villa 20 mins from Ubud centre

The villa is located 20 mins from Ubud center, in a quiet zone where you can still easily find a restaurant by foot. It is private and ideal for those who love chilling at home. The breakfast is served in the room that they bring from the nearest restaurant. The dinner is also available to be served in the room with no extra cost. The staff was extra friendly and helpful, always available. We came with our 1,5 old baby stayed 1 week so it became our home in fact and hade really nice time here. Absolutely recommended!

It could be a little bit cleaner, the light coloured sofa had little marks on it. We missed some extra towels and bathrobes.

Nice but a bit pricey and beware of monkeys 🐒

The property is well maintained with a nice pool, room and bathroom. The location is outside of central Ubud on a quiet road winding through the ricefields. If you rent a scooter or motorbike like we did it's a great place to explore Ubud and the nearby area (temples, waterfalls etc.) Nice to not be too bothered by the hordes of tourists and traffic in downtown Ubud...

My wife was scared of the wild monkeys 🐒 which came into the garden and pool area. Since they're not as used to people here compared to the Ubud Monkey Forrest you have to be more careful, can't leave things (especially food or drinks) outside or inside the room... The place is nice but also kinda pricey.

The villa was amazing. Lots of room and comfortable beds. The pool was fantastic. there was a nice big plate of fruit and fresh water available. The breakfast each morning was wonderful with some great choices we didn’t expect the breakfast to be that good

love the private pool and outdoor bath tub. a great affordable option for couples looking for a relaxing weekend. there’s a cafe just a few minutes walk away where you can order food and drinks from and they’ll deliver it right to your villa. you can also book a masseuse to come to your villa for a massage.

Incredible stay at Uma Tirtha

Everything, bed, bathroom, showers, bathtub, rooms, pool. It looks as it described and more. Never had problems w water, or AC/cooling. Pool side was so beautiful.

The gazebo is a little bit unmaintained. the bugs are there where somewhere else are routinely cleaned. So I didn't want to sit there even tho it's a nice location to sit and chill

Perfect stay here ! We really love our room with the private pool. you can enjoy the breakfast there in the pool. Nights are very quiet, far from the trafic. KYS and all the team was very helpfull 🤍
