Property was spacious, we were a party of 8 could easily get lost in the house, although the kids tried in a long game of hide and seek . The downstairs of the house was suitable for people with limited mobility and had some aids in the hallway and shower , one level entry into a conservatory but steps into main entrance. Living room was elevated for a lovely sea view one side and mountains the other. It had lots of quirky things to look at some nostalgic pieces our grandchildren had never seen a phone with a dial and receiver!
The kitchen was well equipped for baking, cooking with lots of little extras if you needed them from washing up liquid to herbs on the wall and even cookbooks.
The open fire was lovely and in a room where we were all able to sit and play board games and share meals . Place is directly opposite the beach that was taken full advantage by the fishermen amongst us , followed by an afternoon in nearby barmouth, the whole area is lovely, locally we used the shop and post office that had absolutely everything needed for us . Heated throughout so nice and toasty .Absolute gem of a place back garden huge and neighbors were lovely and friendly.
Previous guests have obviously been not so careful in the sitting room one couch was broken so avoided. Only one pillow per person and a bit flat no spares in wardrobe, husband is heart patient so needs extra but that’s a personal preference easily remedied will just take extra next time !

This place is a hidden gem. Very private and large house with all the items you need for a chill relaxed time. I stayed 3 nights with my family, and we had an excellent time. I would definitely book this house again.

Plenty of space, good sized rooms in a good location for exploring the country. Fairbourne railway and proximity to the sea made it for the children.
A bit dated.
