Perfect location, lovely surroundings.

Location was excellent for town and had lovely grounds, nice welcome pack and appreciated the mulled wine.

Several minor niggles, no toilet brush etc, and a very worn dirty looking bed cover in the spare room.

Beautiful cottage in breathtaking surroundings

What a beautiful clean comfortable cottage with everything you need for a relaxing stay. From the front window of the cottage there was an amazing view of the Welsh countryside. It was a 5 minute drive to Aberystwyth and within easy reach of other costal resorts. Caryl the host was really helpful and gave us a list of nice places to eat and visit. I would highly recommend a stay here and we will definitely be visiting again.

Didn't quite meet expectations.

The views from the property were stunning, and the host was helpful with any problems. Property was reasonably well equipped in the kitchen. It was useful having the washing machine, which worked well, and the heated clothes dryer was a bonus. The beds were comfy. The shower was nice and hot and powerful.The living room was comfy and the TV was replaced very quickly because it wasn't working.

There was no soap in the bathroom upon first arrival so we had to unpack before being able to use the bathroom and wash our hands. A small thing but expected in this price bracket. There was no welcome pack, again unusual in this price bracket. The property was reasonably clean but not immaculate and the kitchen looked tired, having a piece of footboard missing at bottom of the kitchen units and a chipped glass heat proof mat, to name a few things. The sofa was very dirty looking, I didn't really want to sit on it. The towels while clean were not white or fluffy but old and rather worn. The cottage felt slightly damp despite being beautiful sunny weather all week.

Beautiful quiet rural location with views over fields, and yet also only a few minutes' drive away from Aberystwyth town centre. Outside seating area was perfect for watching the sun go down after a hot day, with drinks and nibbles.

Just what we wanted.

Self contained room in a peaceful, scenic location. The host was very helpful and very friendly. We were able to park right next to the entrance of our room.
