Lovely location , lovely site, caravan was very nice and comfortable, great gift box for the dogs very thoughtful and little pack with tea towel etc. Close to the beach .

Good location, good caravan, poor caravan equipment.

Location, plenty of hot water in the van, heating very efficient.

Much of the soft furnishings were stained. Most of the crockery, glasses and cutlery had food on them. I had to wash 5 dinner plates to have a clean one. Im talking dried on egg yolk, tomato sauce, hot chocolate around the outside of mugs, cutlery stained with dried on food, drinking glasses dirty. I have pictures to back up these claims. Also, I booked through Booking.com and put down 1 adult 1dog and paid for this. On arrival, no dog booked in which cost me an extra £60, God knows why!

Barmouth Bay.

The area and the site

The seating in the caravan looked dirty and grubby. So we used our blankets to sit on. The TV is small and dated. No DVD player. There are no lamps to make it cosy. No outdoor area , no patio furniture. Parking area deep mud. Very poor caravan. Especially when you the advertising was showing a new caravan with outdoor patio and furniture. Very disappointing 😞

Lovely area, roomy caravan, kids loved the arcade, staff on reception were very nice and helpful

The beds were very comfortable, the quilts were fabulously warm and cosy, there was a television in the double bedroom which I’ve never had before, the small decorations in the living area were a lovely touch

As we arrived the table was dirty, no hoovering had been done, utensils and glasses/cups had to be washed, the oven door fell down very easily when opened

Lovely location, relaxing, ideal facilities on site.

Staff were friendly. Pool was fab. Location was great. Accommodation was spotless and comfortable.

An earlier check in (3pm) would have suited us better. The free WiFi was non-existent haha, it didn't even show up as an available option to connect to, but that kind of thing didn't bother us at all - if we were travelling with our teens though, this would have been an issue.

Feeling disappointed

Beautiful area very clean well kept grounds lovely pool , clean bed linen cooker fridge etc all good quality in caravan.

Last occupants of the caravan left the seating area and carpets filthy, they were cleaned and were still wet and smelling of dog when we went in. We had nowhere to sit and when I complained we were given towels to sit on not exactly what you expect on holiday, no compensation was offered just apologies, no cushions on seating for comfort no coffee/side table no lamps it was either full lights or none double bed mattress was just springs. We left a day early.

Barmouth bay caravan park

Great area with lots to do. Walking distance from beach. Small shop and fish and chips place, restaurant/bar also walking distance. It was nice and quiet due to the time of the year.

Some areas were bit dusty, some rust in the bathroom and bathrooom door very difficult to close.

Amazing holiday

It was a great location and a perfect base to explore Wales. The beach was only a few steps away and it was absolutely stunning, especially for walks around sunset. The lady on the reception was very nice and welcoming. There were a couple of lovely pubs within walking distance. Caravan was nice and clean. Price for the holiday was very reasonable. We hope to return again soon.

Outdoor area could have been nicer but it didn't matter for the time of year we were there. I was expecting a terrace but that's probably my fault for not researching properly.

Stressful and beyond

Only thing I liked about the property was the staff, they was amazing especially when both of my children was hurt and the lady’s on the front desk did so much to make them happy!

Everything, the shower head and holder falling apart, you had to hold it in the shower. There’s no WiFi at all and customers service for WiFi wasn’t manned only can call Monday to Friday which isn’t good if you only there for weekend. Felt very let down by the place especially after seeing the pictures and after speak with someone about there will be things on for the kids the month before we paid and traveling over 100 miles. Really need to update the pictures… it was all to much and we left a day early.

The holiday makers very noisy in nearby caravans so children found it difficult to sleep, lack of parental supervision on playground for some children not good. The internet was none existent even though it was stated as being there. We did mention this to the staff who know how bad it is.

There were no bedside lamps in the bedrooms, and there wasn't a single hook in the entire caravan to hang a towel, jacket, or other items. There was no WiFi available the whole time.

Only let down was dirty under bedding

Upon leaving we cleaned and hoovered everywhere stripped our bed to our horror we found several what looked and smelt like urine on the mattress protector I took photos . Made us feel sick put abit of a dampener on our otherwise lovely stay ☹️

Property was right by the beach and it also had a deck for the dogs to sit out on. It was enclosed so we did not have to worry about them running away.

Would have been helpful had we been informed prior to arriving that they do not supply handsoap. Also, there was a wrapped very tiny T-towel. We did not use this until our second day when we had already gone out and bought washing up liquid and trash bags. Maybe a little notice to let us know that these were inside the towel would also have helped

Barmouth 10/10

Perfect size caravan, situated 10 vans away from the beach access. Veranda/decking for peaceful contemplation listening to the birds along the river. Outside tap, perfect for washing sandy shoes and the dog. Personal parking. So quiet. Definitely booking again.
