Janes welcome was above and beyond treated like long lost friends not like clients. Tea,coffee, milk and sugar and especially the lovely fruit cake and Welsh cakes was a lovely surprise.
Thanks Jane you made our holiday

We had very warm welcome from Jane, the host. The accommodation and location were both excellent. We look forward to returning.

Property is in a quiet location. It is well equipped and is near to Harlech and Barmouth is also accessible. There are not many facilities locally apart from a couple of shops in the village, but this didn’t bother us. Railway stations not far away. The property was mostly clean. A couple of cobwebs here and there. Nice touch with some provisions left when we arrived. Bed was comfortable and we slept well. Parking on site is available. We didn’t use the laundry or games room so cannot comment. Overall we had a good stay.
There was some confusion over the booking and payment, where our booking was mistaken for someone else’s, but it was sorted in the end. The WiFi worked but wasn’t great and seemed a bit slow. The blind on the main door, which is also the bedroom, kept falling down from the sticky pad and we ended up having to block the light out using another means. A curtain would probably work better.

Very clean, very comfortable, everything there (from dishwasher to grater and everything imbetween) and everything of the very highest quality! Exceptional.

Perfect place to stay to explore the places we wanted to visit during our time in Wales! The farm is a lovely location quiet and excluded away from busy streets. The furnishing of the house was cosy and very well laid out and the addition of the games room was such a lovely touch which we used every evening! Would highly recommend and we would definitely book to stay here again if we return to Wales! Jane was super helpful during our stay and was very friendly and lovely to talk to! 😊

We stayed in Sgubor - the two-bedroom downstairs barn conversion. It's very quiet and it was great to have beds made up and towels provided - as well as cake, milk, tea, coffee and condiments. The games room and play area were an excellent bonus, as well as access to a washing machine and dryer. Although the beach is too far to walk, Harlech is amazing and only 10 minutes down the road. We also enjoyed Parc Fferm, the Children's Farm Park at Llanfair.
Next time we'll bring a washing up brush, and a really sharp knife. Also, a fly swat would have been useful - not surprisingly as it's a farm! Hand wash was provided but bring your own shower gel and shampoo.

Our stay was fantastic. The owner is very pleasant and welcoming and the cake and milk left for us on arrival was a nice touch. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment on the ground floor and the accommodation had everything we needed. Accommodation is on a working farm with wonderful views and is very peaceful. Had a lovely break and the price was exceptional considering the quality of the apartment.
Wi-fi is a bit hit and miss.

Great location, short distance to Barmouth for a day at the seaside, and plenty of places nearby with pubs and restaurants.
The accommodation had everything we needed - fully equipped kitchen, smart TV, and wifi. Also had a brilliant games room with a snooker table, air hockey, and table tennis.
Our host was so lovely, was there to greet us when we arrived and supplied us with milk and some baked goods. Prompt replies messaging on the app leading up to the trip too, and answered any questions we had.
The WiFi could be a little temperamental and would drop out occasionally, and seemed to struggle if the two of us were trying to use it at the same time.

Very friendly host. Interesting location--watching the sheep-shearing was a bonus! Near to coast and mountains. Comfortable lounge and bedroom (for 2). Nice bathroom, with plenty of hot water. Fantastic sunsets.
Kitchen is narrow, tho' OK for one at a time, and given the property's dimensions it's the only layout that makes sense.

Had a fabulous stay, greeted by Jane who showed us round. Everything was spotlessly clean and included everything we could possibly need including a dish washer, towels, tea towels, there was even milk in the fridge and Welsh cakes and barabrith to welcome us. The bed was very comfortable and pillows just right. The setting is so peaceful with only the odd sound of cows or sheep but mostly just silence 😊. Lovely views over the countryside and could see the sea and mountains in the distance. Location was quite remote but great for visiting surrounding areas, we are not walkers but for those who are this would be a great place to start. Thank you Jane for a lovely stay in your beautiful barn we would definitely recommend to anyone. 😊

A pleasant, quiet location with easy parking. There was an insulated 1 litre stainless steel cafetiere, which was great, as I had forgotten mine.
Egg cups were a triumph of design over function. Standard large eggs were not held well. A bit messy. Though only a minor irritation, half sorted by using an empty egg shell as a packing device

The host Jane and her husband were absolutely lovely and couldn't do enough for me and my girlfriend, the apartment was very well decorated clean and modern with a touch of country. It also had the most comfiest queen size bed too. When we arrived we had a traditional Welsh fruit loaf and Welsh tea cakes waiting for us also there was tea, coffee and a pint of milk. Jane showed us around the place and opposite our apartment was even a games room for rainy days in an attached out building with a laundry facilities room as well,
Nothing, maybe the weather lol.

I met the owner, Jane, at the property and she was warm and very friendly from the very first words she spoke. The property itself was homely, spacious, well equipped and warm. If there were any problems Jane's family were nearby but I didn't need any help. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well every night. Parking was at the property. Being on a working farm it was fun watching the animals and some were real characters. It also had great views of the local countryside, down towards the beach.
Jane provided me with some books on suggested walks and recommended the Precipice Walk, Dolgellau which I did and had some great views. I used the property to explore Southern Snowdonia, the old tin mines, Portmeirion and the Mach Loop. I loved the nearby town of Barmouth, its beach and the Mawddach Estuary - I wish I had longer to explore it more.
I would stay here again and recommend the property for singles and couples.

We had a warm welcome, the lady who owns it was very friendly. They have cow’s there which I loved, there was no noise, even though we knew other people were staying it’s very quiet and you can come and go as you like. Accommodation was comfortable, clean, beautiful bed, everything you need is there, all we needed to bring was clothes, toiletries and food. I forgot my hairdryer but there was one supplied. There is heating, a fire, constant hot water, lovely shower and bath. The kitchen is finished to a high standard with oven, stove, fridge freezer and dishwasher. The area is great for lots of trips to nearby beaches and towns. Lots of little villages nearby and pubs, restaurants. This was a great escape for us.
The only thing I would mention is the room we had was up a flight of outdoor steps which were beautiful but if you struggle on your legs you might want a room downstairs.

JANE was a very welcoming host ,we were very lucky with the weather but on dodgy days we played in the games room which was very well equipped. There is a seaside about a mile or so called Barmouth which the children would love. Scenery lovely.

Relaxing, quiet,, very clean, comfy, modern while still retaining the period features.
Games room is a bonus, when it's raining or you just want to hang out on site.
Host is friendly.
Plenty of parking space.
Great as a base if you want to explore beautiful Wales.

we liked the tranquil location. the beds were comfortable and we slept well. it was a 30 min walk to the beach but well worth the exercise; it didnt take long to get to any beach in this area by car either. jane was lovely and left a afternoon snack, with tea, coffee and milk in the fridge; which is a very kind thing to do. everything you need for self catering was provided and all equipment was in good quality & in good condition. washers & dryer available. games room, benches & tables outside, small park area, bbq's available also. would recommend a stay

Clean and comfortable with beautiful scenery during our drives. The games room was a god send as the children used it daily.
Location was a little out of the way and quite a trek to the beach but central for most things by car.

What a lovely location, right by great sandy beaches and within 30 mins drive of the Snowdonia mountains. Great for visiting both, as well as Portmeirion or Coed y Brenin forest. The cottages are on a working farm, so there's the chance to see sheep and cows and dogs at work! The owners were very welcoming and on hand if needed, but equally left us to our own devices when we didn't need anything. They had gone to a lot of effort to provide the little extras that make a stay even better - things like welcoming Welsh cakes, milk and tea/coffee, plenty of towels, dishwasher tablets, a hair dryer, or a selection of DVDs. There were also washing machines on site, so it was handy to be able to do a wash mid-week. The cottage was a decent size, with plenty of space for the 4 of us. It was well furnished, with plenty of cutlery, crockery and utensils. There was a nice lawn area to sit in the sun, with deck chairs to hand, as well as barbecues to use or boogie boards to borrow. The owner also allowed us to lock our bikes up in their shed, which was appreciated given it sometimes rains in Wales!
Can't think of anything
