The location is very good - nice and quiet, away from the main road but still an easy walk to the shops, pub, restaurants, etc. The property was nice inside, well-equipped and warm.
The plumbing was a bit ropey in that the water pressure seemed to fluctuate. This may be something outside the owners’ control - it’s quite common in the area in my experience as these are small villages and the water companies haven’t invested as they probably should have. Not a big deal but if you like a really powerful shower be prepared for disappointment!

Ein typisches Cottage in ruhiger Lage ca 500 Meter vom Ortskern des pittoreken Örtchens Porlock mit vielen Einkehr-Möglichkeiten. Ein kleiner Garten- und Terrassenbereich macht das Häuschen auch bei gutem Wetter attraktiv. Die Heizung funktionierte sehr gut, die Küchenausstattung war sehr gut und das Prospekt-und Kartenmaterial fürAusflugsmöglichkeiten sehr vielfältig. Ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung des Exmoors.
