About this cottage rental

Located in Minehead, this welcoming cottage lets you experience it all. Thanks to the convenient uncovered onsite parking, you can either leave your vehicle behind and let your feet make short work of the 10-minute walk to Exford Memorial Hall, or easily tackle the 30-minute drive to Exmoor National Park.

As you settle into the place, you'll find a fireplace and blackout drapes/curtains. Enjoy the free WiFi and flat-screen TV. Prepare a home-cooked meal in the kitchen, complete with an oven, a stovetop, and a refrigerator, as well as an electric kettle, a microwave, and cookware. And you won't have to pack extra clothes, because you'll also have a washing machine. Other amenities include bed sheets, an ironing board, heating, and wardrobe or closet.

Very peaceful, quiet setting, just what we wanted. The cottage was spacious, clean, and well equipped. Both bedrooms were lovely. The owners responded to emails quickly and were very helpful with whatever we needed. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Very pleasant stay. Quiet and relaxing spot, nestled in the middle of Exmoor. Exford is a lovely village and provides (relatively, for rural Devon!) easy access to various local attractions. The building itself is fairly typical of this type of property. If you're looking for luxury look elsewhere, but if you want functional and quaintness then this is an excellent choice. Dave, our host, was very welcoming and offered help when we required it. Parking was really useful and kitchen was well equipped. Shared bathroom is small but, again, functional and is fine for a family (of 4, in our case). Only minor criticisms - none of which really bothered us - are the enormously creaky floorboards, noisy boiler and thin walls to the property next door. But all these are the sort of things you expect from an old building such as this.
