Superb location. We had a great time.

There were 2 cafetières but one was missing its glass so only one was useable. Disappointing for 4 big coffee drinkers. There was only dishwasher tablet left in the property for us to use. I would have thought that when staying 5 nights there would be at least 1 per day left in the property.

A nice stay.

It was cosy and the views are lovely.

The Hill back from town is steep. Couldn't work out the washing machine. No tumble dryer. The TV is tiny. And to tell the truth, the property need up dating all over. A lick of paint, get rid of the old bedding in the downstairs bedrooms. And sort the foliage out.

Perfect birthday weekend away

The property was modern, extremely well equipped and decorated. Stunning views. Lovely touches of tea and cake, cleaning stuff, cooking basics. No need to bring anything.

Upstairs mattress was a little lumpy. Not to the place to go if you have mobility issues or struggle walking up steep hills or stairs. Not an issue for us but was steeper than we had thought.

Prachtige locatie, leuk huis met enkele verbeterpunten.

Deze vakantiewoning ligt op een prachtige plek, die uitkijkt over het dorp en daarachter de zee. Erg rustig ook, vanwege de afgelegen ligging in een stille straat. Het dorp Porlock is ook leuk met diverse restaurants en eetgelegenheden. De bedden in het huisje zijn goed en het uitzicht vanuit het slaapkamerraam is geweldig!

De indeling van de woning is niet helemaal praktisch, maar is begrijpelijk genoeg niet zomaar iets in te veranderen. De accommodatie had wel iets schoner gekund en er waren een aantal dingen kapot, zoals een cafetière, stoel op de veranda, traptrede naar bovenste terras. Ook misten een paar goede stoelen op de veranda, bijvoorbeeld om lekker in de zon te zitten.
