Sehr schönes, typisches englisches Reihenhaus mitten im Dorf. Sehr sauber. Küche voll ausgestattet. 2 Convenience Stores und zahlreiche Restaurants ums Eck. Fantastischer Startpunkt für wunderschöne Wanderungen im Exmoor. Wir sind wegen der Hitzewelle (32°) eher zufällig hier gelandet und waren sofort verliebt.
Die Agentur schickte zahllose, sich wiederholende Nachrichten. Es fehlte trotzdem die konkrete Postadresse in Booking.com fürs Navi, stattdessen enthielten wir eine sehr gute Wegbeschreibung. Beides zusammen wäre perfekt gewesen. Als wir das heiße Wasser nicht an bekommen haben, hat die Agentur stundenlang nicht zurückgerufen.

The location was fantastic and it was very spacious. Parking is tight but amazing to have parking in Porlock! Also the shower is incredible!
We knew that the place welcomed dogs but we were expecting the carpets to be clean of dog hair. There was a lot of dog hair on the living room carpet and rug.

The location of the cottage was central to the village and an excellent base for travelling around Exmoor. Comfy beds and a lovely shower. The cottage had everything needed for a very comfortable stay.
Parking - a bit of a nightmare to say the least! Advised to reverse into the cul-de-sac but this was impossible for a larger car. Heating was a bit of an issue as was very random and could be cool at times. A hand towel in the kitchen and an extra tea towel would be great.
