3 Elm Cottage

Beautiful cottage which was quite spacious, had everything you needed and was comfortable and clean

Only issue, which was very minor, was the butane firefighters didn’t work so we couldn’t light the log burner. However the cottage was lovely and warm anyway

very homely, well stocked kitchen, good instruction/information booklet

very picky but as a family of 5 a small clothes horse would have been good for Autumn weather as couldnt use the outside drying line and not all items can go in the dryer

shower only just ok

TV in lounge was not working remotes was NOT working even when we put NEW batteries in them the switches on the TV itself did not work.The CLEANLINESS of the cottage was disgusting cobwebs everywhere under the tables was dusty down the stairs was cobwebs even under the crockery shelves worktops everywhere under all the beds were dusty and cob webs under the settee dust behind the TV dust cutlery was of inferior quality under the bed slats soe were missing no blind in one of the bedrooms so being a ensuite and clear window my Daughter had to leave a door to it open so not to be seen from outside the decoration was dated the furniture was dated the key did not work properly to the back door and to add more we found the hot water timer had been set to go off when leaving on the button at 10am we were also told that 12noon arrival and 12noon leaving but this was change 3pm and to leave at 10am the garden was a disgrace not tended at all grass long and cinders fro the previous lettings still visible also as a safety there is no proper lighting to the rear garden it was pitch black surely a Health and Safety concern

Very nice comfortable property with off road parking in a safe location at the back.
