The beautiful West Somerset coast is just half an hour away near Minehead, while the East Devon coast near Lyme Regis and Sidmouth can be reached within an hour. For surfing enthusiasts, the beaches of North Devon and North Cornwall lie just over an hour’s drive away. The Exmoor National Park, only five minutes by car, provides breathtaking walking trails and a welcoming pub en route. In October, guests can enjoy the Dark Sky Festival, celebrating the area’s famously clear night skies free from light pollution.

We needed a few days away from everything so this was perfect. Host was lovely. Property had everything we needed and we were nice and cosy. Tea/coffee, milk, cookies and towels were an unexpected bonus. Great views, but glad we got there in daylight.

Listing price is very reasonable. We overall enjoyed our stay. Things that can be improved include shower pressure, toilet flush buttons, cleanliness of the beddings, and the big fold table table which seems to be a bit cumbersome and maybe adding a log burner.
The host is very communicative and very respectful.

A lovely hut in a beautiful location, though the hut itself was rather unclean and disorganised, unfortunately. The host welcomed this feedback, however, and has assured me that improvements to cleanliness will be made in the future.
