A one night stay on way to Cornwall. it was a nice quiet rural location. Great views over countryside and sea. Apartment was clean and beds comfortable. The welcome basket was a nice surprise, and the owners were very helpful allowing us an extra hour for check out in the morning.
Property surroundings details include Beggars Roost pub, 30 yards, however, this is now closed according to the website. Driving through the muddy farmyard wasn't a drama but not anticipated.

The access road to get to The Granary could've been more car friendly.

Self catering. Location good, place was clean and well equipped and beds comfy. The hosts had left a welcome pack of crisps and biscuits which was a nice touch. When we had to call the owner, he came very promptly. Sea view was nice, when we could see it through the rain!
key didn't work when we got it from lock box and we had to call the owner who came very promptly, he said there was an issue with the lock and it needed replacing, but he managed to unlock it. The property was a bit chilly at times, we stayed in December when it was very wet and windy and there was a lot of draughts. No central heating or woodburner, the hosts provided electric radiators which we made full use of, but it must be very expensive for them. We thought it would be a fabulous place to stay when it is a bit warmer.

It was a lovely barn conversion,it was peaceful ,clean, comfortable, well equipped .Near to Lynmouth and Lynton.
We had difficulty finding the granary, it was dark when we arrived and there was not much lighting outside , there were no signs it was tucked in the middle of to it three other barns . We also had problems in Google maps finding the exact location.
Although there were 4 heaters it was very cold

Good location, clean, had family games, treat basket was nice touch.
Electric hob was old fashioned, could have been a bit cleaner as daughter is sensitive to dust, treat basket scones could have come with cream and jam as limited grocery stores nearby. Could have had suggestions about what to visit in local area. But all minor improvements to what was a lovely property overall.

Comfortable and spacious. Well equipped and clean. Thought it was very good value for money. Great location for coast path.
Very nice welcome hamper with snacks. Thank you
It was raining and there was a leak in the ceiling in living area. It felt a little tired and need of redecoration in places.

very clear instructions, The added thoughtful touches of a gift welcome basket was appreciated. Excellent range of kitchen appliances, a wonderful coffee machine and lots of equipment to use. The beds were wonderfully comfortable and warm. Extremely relaxing and peaceful experience. The garden was a little hideaway to relax in. Everything you need was supplied. Thank you for the welcome guidebook as well.
There was nothing to dislike. The space was beautifully decorated, thoughtful touches, very clean.

The views overlooking the fields and sea
The courtyard and smell outside were truly awful, very neglected and had dog poo scattered everywhere. Overpowering stench of dog poo as you came into the courtyard, had to hold your breath. The so called garden area was filthy and run down. Property inside was about ok, however decor of monkeys at every turn was a bit too much. Windows and bathroom needs replacing.

The view from the windows was stunning. The welcome pack was lovely.
The bed in the master bedroom was rather low and as I have a bad back it made getting in and out of bed tricky so in the end our son slept in there and we had the twin room.

The proximity to the Lynmouth retreat campsite was really handy as we had friends staying there. The beds were really comfortable and it was a generally cosy space to stay in. Great views of the hills down towards the sea.
Somewhere to put recycling would have been good.

It's a beautiful area. It's very clean inside, and it has a lovely countryside aesthetic. There were snacks on the table, blankets, and bedding all neatly laid out.
The lock was very difficult to open, we had to have assistance to unlock it and left it unlocked over night. There was no napkins/kitchen roll and the coffee machine wasn't operable because it needed descaling. Also whilst towels was included, there was no shampoo or shower gel.

The scenery was beautiful
Ideal location to travel to Lynton, lynmouth and the surrounding areas
The snacks provided was a nice touch
Cozy living room area
Friendly people & quiet
Owner communication exemplary
Parking and the access to the property wasn’t ideal, very muddy and lots of pots holes
Didn’t realise it was upper floor apartment which meant we found the floor really creaky throughout.
During our stay we had a lot of critters in the property for ex; spiders, wood lice, etc.
Just some other little things like finishing touches to things such as the bathroom and skirting boards. The garden needs a little attention to it as well.

Easy communication with the host with easy directions to follow to get to The Granary. Well-furnished and clean apartment, comfortable lounge and comfortable beds.
Access into the property was via an access road to a cow shed, through a gate to get to the parking. It is extremely muddy and you have to get out of the car to open the gate, which involves negotiating the mud.
A bad night's sleep was had by all because the latches on the bedroom and bathroom doors were extremely creaky, and so was the floor, resulting in the whole household waking up every time someone went to the bathroom in the middle of the night. A bit of oiling or changing out the latches to regular door handles would fix some of the problem. A good night's rest is one of the most important things for me at an accommodation, therefore I can't rate this place highly.

Kitchen didn’t have enough utensils.

The flat was clean and comfortable and good use was made of the space. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were crisps and biscuits and tea and coffee left for us. The location was perfect for us with a lovely view across the fields to the sea. The owner was helpful and friendly. He brought us extra heaters and explained about the issue with the heating.
The underfloor heating wasn't working and the windows were draughty. (But we were there in January during Storm Eowyn)

Very good value for money. Could definitely see myself staying for longer with the family
Every ammenity you could need for a comfortable stay
A door mat rather than walking onto cold tiles
The bath would fill up with water when showering and not drain quickly.

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, tolle, ruhige Lage, herrlicher Blick aufs Meer. Nette, hilfsbereite Nachbarn.
Netter Willkommensgruß mit Chips und Scones.
Dass wir leider nur eine Nacht blieben.
An sonnigen Tagen fehlt Beschattung an den schrägen Fenster.

Läget och utsikten! Kort promenad till fantastisk utsikt! Extremt nära till bra, vandringsleder. Bra dusch och bra internet. Bra med stor frys! Mysigt!
Saknade information om återvinning. Saknade skärbrädor, sax och bra knivar. Oklart vilka utemöbler man kunde använda.
