We enjoyed a week in the apartment with our 4-year old son. The apartment is large, newly and very stylishly furnished, and very conveniently located in the western parts of Cologne. The nearby train station can be reached on foot in 2-3 minutes (and passing trains were hardly audible in the apartment). Overall a very enjoyable experience and recommendable for families or groups of up to 6 persons.

The flat was exactly as detailed. The owner was really helpful and even had a little welcome pack for us ! The flat was ideally situated 2 mins from the train station with a direct service approx. every 15 mins into Cologne central station. Even though we were so close to the station we didn’t hear the trains- perfect set up The 2 bakeries within 4 min walk were excellent and 5 min drive away was REWE a very well stocked supermarket. The flat had everything we required and more. The log burner was gorgeous especially in the morning when eating breakfast in the open planned room looking over the garden watching the red squirrels. The beds were comfy and the flat was warm. The huge walk-in shower was amazing and all the hot water we needed. We had a really great stay and would come back again- thank you

Really well located next to station for easy of travel into Central Cologne and close to local restaurants, shops and great bakery. If driving to Property beware that it is in a low emissions zone - so you need to purchase a sticker for your car. Hosts very welcoming and great comms. Thanks for a great stay!

Our host, Klaus, was very welcoming and responsive. The space was more than ample for our party of three. The living space (kitchen/dining/sitting area) had a wall of glass windows overlooking the garden, which was lovely. The apt was right next to the Lövenich station, which was super convenient, but you could barely hear the trains from inside the apt. It was also well equipped. I would definitely stay there again.

The home looks just as great it person, if not even prettier. The neighborhood is quiet, close to public transit, and has many great restaurants within walking distance. Klaus and Lukas communicated very well prior to and during our stay and were very kind and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to return one day on the future.

We enjoyed our stay at the apartment hosted by Klaus and Elke. The apartment is a 30-second walk to the Lövenich S-bahn station (which is an easy and very convenient way to get into Koln) and an easy 5 minute walk to Rewe, the large grocery store. Being so close to a S-bahn station, it can be noisy at night. During the first night we had an issue with a loud group loitering outside the apartment well into the morning hours. This was not an issue on other nights. The space is plenty big enough for a family, everything was clean, the apartment is tastefully decorated, and the kitchen is loaded with kitchen tools and appliances. The beds were very comfortable. Check in and out were extremely easy and communication was quick! Do note that the house is heated by a wood fireplace which makes the apartment cozy but the fire does need to be attended to. An enjoyable experience in Koln and we would recommend this apartment if you want to be close to a S-bahn station.

This was the perfect setup for me, my wife and daughter. The location is very nice, just steps away from the nearest S-bahn line. Just 15 minutes to the city center. Plenty of parking on the streets. The apartment is very clean and modern, and we enjoyed the wood burning stove in the kitchen area. We would definitely stay there again.

Shower head broke on our first day and it took 2 days before we had a working shower. Pretty tough for a group of 5. Place was humid and smelled musty. We had better value in Berlin and Munich with less noise intrusion from the trains.

Great apartment, very easy to get to. Right beside the tram station (there’s a shortcut that takes about 30 seconds to get to the tram). The area is nice, restaurants, supermarket and a mall are close by. Short tram ride into Cologne central station. Apartment has everything you need and the hosts were very helpful.

The property was perfect for us and better than described on the website. The owner was there to meet us and showed us around the property which was modern and spotless. The location is brilliant, 2 minutes from the S-Bahn and then 10 minutes into the centre of Cologne. Although it is busy with commuters, this didn't create any noise and the area is very peaceful. We would certainly recommend this property for a stay in Cologne,

The apartment is very light and spacious, although it can be a bit cold unless you light the wood burning stove. The situation is great, very short walk to station for S-Bahn to city centre. But also restaurants and local shops close by and a big shopping centre 10 minutes walk away. Easy to get to by car as not too far from motorway, so ideal location.

This home was wonderful. Very spacious yet cozy for our family of 5. Everything was very clean and had lovely modern touches. You are 2 minutes from the train in to the city center and just a 5 min walk from a grocery and bakery. This was the perfect spot for a visit in Cologne. Thank you!

We were greeted warmly by the owner; he explained the ins and outs of the apartment. He was very helpful when a lost suitcase arrived and we were not there to receive it. The apartment is decorated tastefully. We enjoyed our stay there.

The apartment is large and comfortable. It has a lot of light. The metro station, and two bakeries are around the corner. Lukas was very understanding, we where supposed to arrive at 7pm but do to traffic on our trip we arrived at 10pm. Cold beer was waiting on the fridge. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The apartment was as described, spacious with two bedrooms, kitchen and lounge. The S Bahn was close by, about five minutes walk. Elke met us on arrival and showed us round. She is an interior designer, so the apartment was well decorated throughout. The weather had turned cool. The apartment had a wood burning stove and a radiator in the bathroom, but felt chilly during our stay. we all enjoyed our stay and will return.

Die Wohnung ist sehr praktisch direkt am S-Bahnhof gelegen; die Zugfahrt ins Zentrum dauert <15min (wenn nicht gerade die DB streikt...). Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht und ist auch für ältere Menschen sehr gut geeignet, da ebenerdig. Wir hatten eine gute Zeit und kommen gern wieder.

Wir waren mit allem rund um zufrieden, die Lage ist super, direkt an der Bahn, jedoch total ruhig gelegen. Die Besitzer waren super freundlich und alles lief unkompliziert ab. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht und ist sehr modern eingerichtet. Wir haben erneut gebucht und freuen uns schon.

Auf den ersten Blick sah alles gut aus. Sieht man genauer hin, ist alles dreckig... in allen Ecken sammelte sich der Dreck und die Spinnen inkl. sehr großen Spinnweben! (Kein Dreck der mal eben übersehen wurde, sondern Dreck der da bereits länger liegt) In den Kisten im Wohnzimmer war Verpackungsmüll von den Dekoelementen in den Kisten, mit einer hohen Staubschicht. Ebenfalls waren alle Möbel und Gegenstände sehr staubig, der Boden sah auch nicht besser aus, überall Müll und Reste von Verunreinigungen. Die Dusche kann nur brühend heiß oder eiskalt, die Kinder zu duschen war eine Zumutung. Der selbstgebaute Wohnzimmertisch aus Paletten splittert total, auch nicht angenehm mit Kindern. Im 2 Zimmer befindet sich nicht einmal eine Deckenleuchte, hier hängen die Kabel einfach aus der Decke raus. Der Müll wurde von den Vermietern vom Balkon in die Hecke entsorgt! (Wir saßen gerade auf der "Terasse" als plötzlich Kartoffeln usw. in die Hecke flogen! Und in der Hecke liegt noch sehr viel mehr) Die Betten sind ebenfalls nicht zu empfehlen, sehr hart und ja wir mögen ebenfalls harte Matratzen, jedoch ist die Härte auf eine wenn überhaupt 10cm Matratze zurückzuführen. Das Rollo im Schlafzimmer lässt sich nicht ganz schließen, Schrauben waren zum Teil nicht ganz reingeschraubt usw... Und das schlimmste am Aufenthalt ist, wir haben bis Dato keine RECHNUNG erhalten! Wir benötigen diese zur Abrechnung im Unternehmen und bekommen keine Rechnung nach Paragraph 4 UstG?! Als erstes hieß es, die Rechnung gibt es über FeWo direkt?! Dann das sie keine Rechnung ausstellen können, da sie nicht die volle Summe erhalten?, da die Gebühren von FeWo nicht ausgezhalt werden?! Dann bekamen wir von ihrer Dekoartikelfirma eine "Rechnung" über den Aufenthalt, diese enthielt nicht einmal die nötigen Angaben, welche auf eine Rechnung müssen, sowie keine Steuer! Als entschuldigung kam, das der Mann vergessen hatte den Satz 7% Steuer enthalten dazuzuschreiben? Nach kurzer recherche ist das "Gewerbe" nach Paragraph 19 Abs. 1 UST befreit, das heißt, sie dürfen über das Gewerbe keine Steuer berechnen?! Ich bin gespannt, was nun hierbei raus kommt, das zuständige Amt werde ich informieren.

An sich eine schöne Unterkunft. Geräumige, gute Doppelbetten und eine einladende Küche. Evt könnte man das Inventar um Gefriertruhe, Mikrowelle und Waschmaschine erweitern. Die Dusche wechselt zwischen eiskalt und brennendheiß, Mit äußerst schwachem Wasserdruck. Auch die Spinnweben an vielen Lampen, spärliche Beleuchtung mit nur 50% funtionierenden Glühbirnen und komischer Geruch aus dem Schlafsofa trugen dazu bei, dass wir nur die Abende dort verbracht haben.
