Perfectly situated apartment to explore historic Cologne.

The apartment was perfectly situated for exploring historic Cologne. Everything we needed was included like tea, coffee and soap wash and everything was clean. The bedding was comfy and access to and from the apartment was easy. We ate at the restaurant on the first night and the meal was delicious.

Great hotel, bad smell.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows and the room was the perfect size. Great view of the river and located very close to the Dom and the Christmas markets. Check in was very easy and the staff were very friendly.

Everything else was great, unfortunately the smell from the restaurant below was so strong, I couldn’t stand it. The smell was so strong it made all of our clothes smell and I couldn’t wait to leave. It really is too bad because the room is perfect otherwise.

Brilliant location and good value for money.

Location was brilliant. A literal 2 minute walk to one of the main Christmas markets and then about 5 mins to the cathedral. The room was spacious and the views over the Rhine were lovely.

The apartment wasn’t luxurious in any way. Mirror was cracked and damaged and skirting boards dusty. Wasn’t a huge issue but stopped it being perfect.

Perfect Location & Safe for solo travelers

The location was amazing and the staff could not have been more kind! The small lift on the property was a godsend after collecting all the mugs from the Christmas markets! Would definitely stay here again.

Having no kitchen amenities when a small kitchen was offered was a bit odd but it didn’t affect my stay as I did not need it.

An enjoyable stay in an excellent location.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Apartments am Rheingarten. The location was excellent and we enjoyed a number of meals in the on site Slavia restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Overall, a solid choice for anyone wanting to stay near the heart of Cologne!

I had a great stay at Rheingarten in Cologne. The apartment is centrally located and just a 5-minute walk from Köln Hauptbahnhof, which made it very convenient for exploring the city. Despite being situated above a bar and alfresco area, it was surprisingly quiet at night, so rest was never a problem. The accommodation has a private entrance, which added an extra layer of comfort and privacy. It’s also equipped with a fridge, kettle, and coffee maker—perfect for simple breakfasts or quick refreshments. While there’s no stove for cooking, everything else made for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Stove and plates will add value.

Great location but not very clean.

It is situated in the center of the town, really close to everything you have to visit and near the central station.

It was not clean (I found a big bug in the bathroom). The elevator is not really safe and if you want to leave your luggage for some hours there, after check out, you have to leave them in the restaurant (they don’t have a room designated for this).

It was odd that there was a kitchenette with stove top, but there were just two cups and spoons and no other crockery/ cutlery, and no cooking equipment. The info did state there wasn’t a kitchen and the fridge was handy 🙂

Very quiet but over the restaurant and river Rhine with lovely views and atmosphere. Little kitchenette to make drinks and a fridge. Small but good shower.

We were in a back room with no view. The front bedrooms overlook the river and would have been brighter.

Location Super. Very Close to the train station, the cathedral and bridge. Plenty of choice for restaurants and coffee shops. The apartment was clean and comfortable.

Elevator was not convenient and not in the best condition. It was also in used for supplier of the restaurant and blocked when needed.

A perfect place for a citytrip

The location is perfect and the room is very comfortable. The bed and the shower are very good. Furthermore it is really nice that the room had a large TV, a fridge and coffee and tea facilities.

Great location

The location was excellent and the room large. We were there for the Christmas Markets so the place is ideal for those, and for the railway station. So worked well. Evening meal we had at the restaurant and it was very nice.

It is advertised as an apartment but wasn't really. No means of cooking/heating, just a kettle and a coffee maker. Needed to use the bathroom to fill the kettle and wash the cups. Breakfast expensive as each cup of coffee is charged for separately. Found a nice Bakerie nearby!

Beautiful Apartment in the heart of Cologne

The apartment was beautifully remodeled in the heart of Cologne. The river was right outside of the building and the square was a short walk around the corner. We were able to walk to all of the Christmas markets. The value of the breakfast is incredible and the host was very friendly!

A great stay for bike packers. Very bike friendly!!

The location was excellent to be able to explore on foot. We are bike packers and the hotel allowed us to keep our bikes stored securely in the downstairs restaurant. They were very accommodating which we really appreciated. We ate really nice dinner in their restaurant and our room was lovely and spacious and comfortable.

Clean & Comfortable, close to the station

Great location, less than 10 mins walk from HBF and situated close to attractions. Room was spotless and spacious, with a small kitchenette to make tea/coffee only. The lift wasn't working the day of our arrival and the staff carried our bags up to our room.

Stayed at room 5 at the back ,room was hot with all the extractor fans from all the numerous kitchens below,very noisy at night with the extractor fans left on all night. 4 night stay and had no change of bedding or towels. Even though we wouldn't of used cooking facilities still found it strange there wasn't any considering it's supposed to be an apartment ,basically it's a hotel size room
