The location was central to Beer and was close to restaurants, cafes, pubs and the beach.
The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.
The key to the room was left in the entrance so that our arrival time was not limited (Which removed arrival time worries).
We felt safe here.
The parking was free, but is not part of the property, in the welcome package with the key was a parking pass which allowed the user to have free use of the public car park opposite the property, this worked well, but was not clear in the description and caused some confusion on arrival.
Due to low water pressure the showers temperature would fluctuate wildly even when adjustments were made very slowly.
The TV was low quality and small and its remote control was on its last legs.
The windows faced out on to a main road, passing vehicles were clearly audible (However there was not a lot of traffic).
The door to room would jiggle through out the night, due to external pressure changes (This did disturb my sleep).

Toilet roll cannot find only littler bit there . There is nobody can ask .

Central location. Freshly painted room. Clear arrival instructions. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good to have parking ticket included. The person i spoke to seemed very nice and I like the Welcome message on the keys as you arrive and the little card from Simon and the team. Beautiful flowers outside all along the walls.
Tiny en suite "bathroom" . The bath mat was literally bigger than the bathroom. You can sit on the loo whilst brushing your teeth in the sink and rinsing your toes in the shower (no i didnt try it). The water comes from the tap in a dribble and although there is a sign indicating low water pressure in the village I tried another property in the village and this wasn't a problem.
I wouldn't mind so much but in my humble opinion £125 a night with no breakfast and payment made at time of booking a year ago was a little expensive.
The stairs are fairly narrow and pretty steep so not good for anyone who's a little unsteady on their feet.
It was also a little irritating getting 2 emails at the same time every time a notification arrived.

Enjoyed our stay - room and en-suite were comfortable and spacious and the accommodation is situated a short stroll from the beach
Impossible to regulate the shower temperature despite many attempts and advice from the owner, so resorted to use of the bath. No internet TV.

Location is right in the centre of the village and the owner is on-hand for any issues that might arise

Our stay in Belmont House Beer was lovely.
The room was smaller than we thought, but we did not mind. We thought it was cute and cosy!
The bed was comfortable, and we slept really well.
The room had a selection of tea bags as well as coffee and hot chocolate. There was also a bottle of water and some sweets.
The location was perfect..We were a few steps away from the beach and the centre.
We didn't see the host(s), but before our arrival, we were given all the instructions for the check-in and check out, and it was easy.
.
We really enjoyed our stay and we would definitely stay here again in the same room if it is just for the weekend like we did this time. However, if we were going to stay more than 2 days, we would book a bigger room.

No breakfast was available at the hotel and during our stay and only one pub was open on the Monday and Tuesday for food.

Great location , good price
Room was very small, however we did book a small double so this was expected.

Well equipped room and close to the main street and beach. Would recommend as a place to stay for a short break.
The seagulls are VERY noisy as they seem to congregate on the surrounding chimneys/roofs! If you're a light sleeper it might bother you. It might be a good idea to have a small fridge in the room.

Room was fine as was the bathroom.
I think it was expensive in comparison to local hotels which offer more amenities.

Though manageable the ensuite shower & toilet was very "compact" Really no room to move when getting out of shower

Clean.
over-priced. No breakfast. late check in 4pm though they did let us in earlier. Room was small for what they called a ‘superior double’. Dying roses in a vase.

The location of this property is excellent, being very close to the centre of Beer. The added bonus is a parking permit to allow free parking in the public car park which is close by. The rooms are cleaned on request, every day if required, including replenishment of tea, coffee, milk, hot chocolate, biscuits and water. We requested - and received - this service every day. Bere, itself, if a very beautiful village, with lovely walks right on the doorstep and the beach, though pebbly, is a lovely place to sit and chill out.
There really wasn't anything I didn't like. Just be aware that this is a 200 year old property, so don't expect all mod cons. Fine if you like old properties. The room we had had the shower cubicle in the corner of the main room - maybe not to everyone's choice but fine for us. The toilet was a small room set in the opposite corner of the main room itself but the sink was in the main room where the tea and coffee facilities were. A bit of a strange set up but then the most was made of the space to provide what you need for a few nights away.

Location is perfect . Very well equipped kitchen . Bed was comfy .
It gave the impression that there was an outside terrace to sit on - it was a space for smokers to sit at the front of the house on the roadside. As we had the apartment there was enough space but the shower and bathroom was very small - wallpaper coming down in dining room ceiling . People kept knocking on our door asking for information thinking we were the owners - no one was on hand and communication didn’t seem to be very good with other guests as I gave them the number I had been given as they didn’t have one.

Location was excellent, the rooms were very clean and comfy beds. We didn't see the owners but they rang us to say the rooms was ready and were to pick up the key and parking permit. Everything you needed in your room, from Kettle, tea, coffee, shampoo, shower gel, iron ironing board to hairdryer. didn't want for anything.
Hassle free, lovely holiday would definitely recommend. Could not fault it.
nothing...no complaints

The establishment is obviously very customer focussed, with extra touches in the room that are very welcoming. The sea is just around the corner, a 2 minute stroll away. The central town location is perfect, with all the neighbouring pubs and restaurants. We were made to feel very welcome and will be very happy to return.
The third party booking system removed all the personality from the initial contact, but that's modern life I guess. While it's great to have extra information I think that 'Belmont House Beer - Adults Only - Free Parking' perhaps goes a tiny bit too far. Belmont House on its own is friendlier and more suits the place.
