My stay at Durham House.

The hosts were absolutely fantastic . The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. There is a menu for breakfast i picked the full English which was cooked to perfection it was so nice I had it for the whole five mornings . For anybody looking for accommodation in Beer, you will not go wrong in staying at Durham House . My wife and I could not fault anything.

Perfectly situated, extremely friendly owner and her staff

WELL WORTH A VISIT

This was by far the best B & B I have stayed in.Nettie & Col were super attentive and accommodating. The location was superb as was breakfast. The breakfast choices catered for all dietary requirements and life styles. THANK YOU Nettie & Col.

Exceptional B and B, you'd have to go a long way to beat this place and the owners who run it.

Quite probably the best B and B my wife and I have stayed in over these last few years. Nice location, superb breakfasts (best eggs ever!), the loveliest hosts (Nette is so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much troublel) and a clean, light, comfortable room which was good value for money. We had one of the slightly smaller rooms, but the price took that into account. Just as it should be! Particularly enjoyed the extra little touches like chilled milk and water in the fridge in the room. Cannot recommend this B and B highly enough, we will be back.

We liked everything. If we had one constructive comment to make, it would perhaps be to provide a veggie/vegan fry-up with meat-free sausage and bacon on the breakfast menu, but the choices on there are already very good for all tastes to be honest.

Breakfast great with good choices to cater for everyone, the room had extras like mini fridge fresh milk water also had iron and ironing board and room fan everything you could want! Plus you only had to ask if you did need anything although hard to think what that would be!

Wow!

The hospitality, friendliness and general good banter was excellent. The facilities was perfect, breakfast was good. The location is ideal for touring East Devon and Dorset. The tips we received by email prior to our arrival, set up the week. Which restaurants to book, car parking permits, and general advice on facilities in the town. We had a tremendous week. Thank you.

It was almost the perfect week. We chilled, met up with family in both Devon and Doreset and had a great holiday.
