Wonderful and special place to stay. Lovely apartment tucked away on Isola Bella: high quality and perfect for a family. Very warm and efficient welcome from Gianluca. The island is wonderful and quiet in the evening with just a couple of restaurants open- we had an excellent meal at Il Fornello, also with a very warm welcome. It’s easy to get to, and easy to use the ferries to visit the other islands and cross to and from the shore. We could only stay one night but would have loved to stay for more.

One night on Isola Bella

A tiny house with 3 stairways connecting the 3 small floor spaces each of which have been refurbished to a high standard. It’s in the middle of other buildings with scaffolding outside most of the windows. The top floor has a balcony window with a peep view of the lake. Gianluca was super friendly and welcoming. Apart from Palazzo Borromeo, the highlight for us was the nearby hotel/restaurant Elvezia, which has amazing views, food and friendly staff. We would go back to Elvezia again as we discovered they organise a boat taxi service until late to the mainland if needed.

The house was a bit over priced for a couple staying overnight. In addition, we discovered that there is a very high risk of getting rainy thunderstorms like we got, which unfortunately ruined the experience for us. The house is cute but small and dark so definitely not ideal for anyone suffering from claustrophobia - thankfully there is air conditioning.

Just Perfect!

Very nice apartment on three floors. Comfy bedroom, clean bathroom, and a wonderful living room. Clean, stylish, cozy! Gianluca (he s in charge for the apartment) was very helpful. Ask him anything, he will tell you the hidden spots of the island or where you can have a beautiful dinner next to lago maggiore :) Thank you Gianluca

Exceptional

No better place to stay in the area than at the most famous island itself:-) Tastefully renovated rooms in an ancient building, extremely friendly and helpful staff (mille grazie, Gianluca!), kitchen with almost everything you need (except for a tea pot and a separate water heater). After 7p.m. you practically have the island for yourself. Watch out for boats when you take a swim around sunset! ;-)

Déconnexion en famille sur une île très calme

-la localisation de l’appartement avec une vue superbe sur le lac -l’appartement très spacieux, très propre, décoré avec goût -le confort de la literie -le lit bébé préparé à notre arrivée -l’accueil, la gentillesse et toutes les explications que nous avons reçu à notre arrivée -la cuisine raffinée du restaurant -la gentillesse d’avoir bien voulu garder nos valises à la réception, le jour de notre départ. Nous avons pu visiter librement l’île sans avoir à porter le poids de nos bagages

Nid douillet sur île de rêve

Tout était parfait : l'accueil très sympathique de Francesca, la sobre et charmante déco de l'appartement (ou plutôt de la maison car on y est totalement chez soi), l'excellent entretien des équipements, des meubles, des salles de bains, de la vaisselle... Le confort du lit et des canapés, ce qui est fort rare dans une location ! Les petites attentions (bouteilles d'eau dans le frigo, produits de douche etc de bonne qualité). Et enfin le calme absolu sur l'île une fois passé 18:00, un grand privilège.

Séjour à Isola Bella

L'emplacement exceptionnel sur Isola Bella, vivre le soir sur l'île désertée de ses visiteurs journaliers fût un plaisir sans nom. Très belle maison sur 3 niveaux, décorée avec beaucoup de goût. De très belles pièces et un balcon en prime avec vue sur le lac. Des produits de douche en cadeaux ! Cela donne très envie de revenir !

Il y manque une théière pour que ce soit parfait pour moi !

Die Unterkunft hat alle Erwartungen übertroffen. Super Lage - Restaurants gleich ums Eck. Ein ganzes mehrgeschoßiges Haus für uns allein - Super! gleich 3 Balkone. Top Modern, alles neu und sauber. Es geht nicht besser.

Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht- hier sollte man länger bleiben!

Confortevole e pulito

Appartamento sistemato di recente, ad un minuto dalla fermata dei traghetti. Tutto molto pulito e la cucina ben fornita. Essendoci due bagni c'erano anche il doppio degli asciugamani. Unici appunti: i cuscini non erano molto comodi e un appendiabiti in bagno sarebbe comodo. Comunque consigliatissimo, anche per il prezzo contenuto.
