We really enjoyed our stay and the homely atmosphere of Villa Lucciola.

We were provided with a selection of fruit, pastries and bread. It was all good. The apartment was equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was clean and tidy and Manuella was a lovely host.

The property is in a beautiful location but it is a little bit away from the main attractions. Great for a relaxing few days but maybe a problem for a longer stay.

All about the lake, the food and slowing down after a weeks hiking.

The apartment had everything we wanted for a short stay and was away from the main touristy spots. The view of the lake was great.

The lack of a cafe, restaurant or small shop close by. It has to be said the nearest restaurant was excellent right by the lake. We didn’t enjoy the aggressive barking dogs at one or two of the houses nearby but that’s beyond anybody’s control.

the property has a beautiful view of the lake and gorgeous surroundings Manuela is a very kind and warm host. The bnb had everything you would need + some food and coffee for breakfast! It is a truly magical place.

Great place, calm and clean

Cosy place, in a nice house with a beautiful and large garden and located in a very calm area. The apartment was very clean. The host was very nice and even provided us with fruits and snacks for the breakfast. Possibility to park your car in front of the house. Would recommend if you are looking for a nice place to stay with your family (in our case 2 parents + 1yo baby).

A bit far (20-25' walk) from the city center if this is something important to you. Otherwise nothing comes to mind.

We were well rested and ready to enjoy Lago Maggiore each morning.

Spacious, quiet, very comfortable bed, and well-stocked kitchen. Great host, off-street parking, nice garden with a little view of Lake Maggiore.

Was difficult to find the first time but it is actually convenient for driving and walking to town center once you know how (30 minute walk to ferry terminal).

We enjoyed our stay but would’ve not spent the $ for this place if we knew it wasn’t an actual B&B

The host was kind and responsive and present during our stay! The garden of the residence is beautiful and the location and vicinity to stresa center and departure point of the ferry is great! We loved the little dog running freely (though they probably should habe asked beforehand if all in the family are ok).

The two separate metal frame bed with different heights in the second bedrooms were highly uncomfortable for my parents in law. The residence lays behind a sharp curve and we almost had the most tragic accident while I unloaded the car with my child in my arm - they must put up a sign indicating an exit!! And probably the same level of disappointment than the bed … was the “breakfast” - which was not there! A coffee machine and one bottle of milk (for 4 adults and a child), 3 yoghurts and 2 opened packages of cookies! We addressed our disappointment and felt we weren’t the first who did, though there was no effort to compensate or improve! *mosquitos were unbearable while wanting to enjoy an outside dinner - though this is a location issue!

Host was very good to us , coffe and breakfast provided.We ended up extending our holiday to 4 nights instead of 1 night because the appartment was free and mainly we felt like home and didnt want to change . Thanks for the hospitality we will visit again soon

Our place had a room for 2 and a second room with fold out bed for 2 additional. Light breakfast included.. Look for small sign on gate with name to locate property. Private bathroom.

We had an extremely pleasant stay at Villa Lucciola. The rooms were spacious enough to make one feel comfortable. We were impressed by the kitchen - stocked with everything you need, for people with different tastes. Quite well located and convenient to use - a place where you can enjoy lunch, a snack or a coffee. The courtyard also impresses with its good order and good maintenance. Unfortunately, it was a rainy period and we were not able to enjoy an evening in the gazebo. The hosts very kindly described and provided us with a map and a diagram of the surrounding area. They recommended a nice pizzeria nearby and restaurants. ===================================================== Преживяхме изключително приятно своят престой във Villa Lucciola. Помещенията бяха достатъчно просторни за да се чувства човек комфортно. Впечатлихме се от кухнята - заредена със всичко необходимо, за хора с различни вкусове. Доста добре разположено и удобно за ползване -място където с удоволствие да обядваш, за кусваш или да пиеш кафе. Двирът също прави впечатление със своята добра подреденост и добра поддържка. За съжаление беше дъждовен период и не успяхме да се насладим и на вечер в беседката. Домакините много любезно ни описаха и предоставиха карта и схема на околността. Препоръчаха ни хубава пицария наблизо и ресторанти.

Le logement était dans un état impeccable, très bien équipé. La literie très confortable. Le jardin est sublime, avec vue sur l'isola Bella. Extrêmement bien placé, à proximité de l'embarcadère mais dans un quartier très calme.

Emplacement idéal à 10 minutes à pied du Lac Majeur et face aux îles Borromees. Au calme et entouré d’un beau jardin. L’hôte nous a accueilli avec beaucoup d’attentions corbeille de fruits, petits gâteaux de Noël, il y avait tout ce qu’il fallait pour le petit déjeuner. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour.
