Bacalhoeiros 99 - Beautiful and bright Apartment @ Baixa, Chiado

The location of the apartment is great for a first time visit to Lisbon. Noise from the street was not present when the windows were closed. All rooms in the apartment were very spacious. Beds and bed linen was very comfortable.

A few minor improvements to the equipment and services would significantly enhance the guest experience: - The apartment accommodates six people, but there were only four forks provided. Adding a few more pieces of cutlery would be a simple and inexpensive improvement. - The Tefal frying pan in the apartment was heavily scratched, with the metal surface exposed. For health and safety reasons, it should be replaced, as it is no longer suitable for cooking. This is also a relatively small investment that would make a noticeable difference. - In both apartments, it was not possible to switch between the overhead shower and the handheld shower because the diverter switch was not functioning properly. - We were initially provided with a limited supply of toilet paper, which was not sufficient for six people during our stay. When we requested additional rolls, we were told that the initial supply was provided as a courtesy and that we should purchase any extra ourselves. To be honest, this was surprising, as I have never encountered this when booking apartments in other countries. Considering that the apartment is positioned in the higher-end price range, I believe providing a few extra rolls of toilet paper during a guest's stay would be a reasonable expectation and a very small cost for the host, while making a meaningful difference to the overall guest experience.

The location was perfect. It was walking distance to all the main squares. It’s near the water and walking distance to the various train stations. The property itself was set up nicely for a family of 4. I really liked the individual thermostat by room area. It was ideal for different preferences. The hosts were accommodating and responsive. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this property to our friends and stay here again for future stays.

I’ll be honest I like a softer bed but it was clean and comfortable.

Die Wohnung ist modern eingerichtet und angemessen ausgestattet. Viele Highlights sind zu Fuß erreichbar. In der Straße befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe einige gute Restaurants.

Es ist alles sehr anonym. Der angekündigte "Meerblick" war nicht gegeben. Dafür hatten wir direkte Sicht auf ein Kreuzfahrtschiff. Das Haus befindet sich mitten in einer sehr touristischen Zone mit entsprechendem Umfeld. Im Mai schlossen die Restaurants gegen 23 Uhr, so dass es zu keiner Lärmbelastung kam.

Location was perfect. Close to everything central. Air conditioning was great. Living room was very spacious.

The shower in the master bedroom was falling off the wall. It was too short and small. The other shower wouldn't stay still kept moving around
