About this villa rental
Independent villa with garden, equipped terraces and parking space, located in a hilltop village just 15 minutes' drive from Lake Como.
The house consists of a large eat-in kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, entrance hall, large living room with fireplace and dining area, masonry mezzanine with study corner, 2 beds, terrace with deck chairs and table. In front of the kitchen a second terrace equipped with table, chairs, deck chairs, umbrella and small barbecue.
In the first bedroom there is a French double bed, in the second one a double bed, on the mezzanine two more single beds (total 6 beds, on request possibility to add another bed) On request camping cot for baby and high chair. The first bathroom consists of toilet, bidet, sink and bathtub, the second one has a toilet sink and washing machine (both with window). Bicycles are available on request (deposit of 50 euros per bicycle to be paid on arrival)
The village is a small historic village above Lake Como from which beautiful walks leave. It is located 15 minutes from the lake, possibility of boat trips, water sports, visits to the villas and villages of the lake. It is also 20km from the famous resort of Bellagio. At 34 km Villa d’Este Golf Club, Montorfano (Como).
In the village there are tennis court, football, volleyball / basketball), restaurants, church, library, food shops, ATM.
Numerous events are held in the summer, including important cultural events.

Nous avons passé 2 semaines à 5 (2 adultes, 2 ados et 1 enfant) dans cette maison spacieuse et confortable (il manque juste 1 four pour pouvoir pleinement profiter de la cuisine italienne !).
L'accueil est très bon, les lits sont faits à notre arrivée, l'essentiel du petit déjeuner est là aussi et Chiara est disponible si besoin.
A noter que l'emplacement est un peu excentré (premier supermarché à environ 40 min) et les routes sont très sinueuses.
Il y a une toute petite supérette à Zelbio bien pratique pour dépanner (avec d'excellents fromages de la région) et un très bon restaurant sur la place de l'église.
La région est magnifique mais les déplacements en voiture ne sont pas toujours simples (peu de places de parking).

Wir-mit unseren drei Kindern-5, 8 und 11 Jahre alt- und dem Onkel zu Besuch haben eine wahnsinnig schöne Zeit in Zelbio verbracht. Das Haus liegt in einem sehr idyllischen Bergdorf, man kann direkt loswandern, oder zu schönen Ausflügen aufbrechen. Alles war wie beschrieben, das Haus sehr gemütlich und dabei praktisch eingerichtet und mit einem wahnsinnigen Blick über die Berge. Die Vermieter sind wahnsinnig nett, heimisch in der Region und helfen mit Rat und Tat. Ein großartiges, entspanntes Urlaubsdomizil!

Merci à Chiara pour son chaleureux accueil. Maison très bien équipée, spacieuse et fonctionnelle.
Les + : les lits faits à l’arrivée, le lave linge, le petit déjeuner offert
Les bémols : l’absence de vue sur le lac, le premier grand supermarché à 40 minutes.
Nous sommes enchantés de ces vacances reposantes et recommandons sans hésiter cette location.

The house is wonderfully designed and very comfortable and the village is charming, the hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We had a wifi issue - which was a bit flimsy - but the hosts did all they could to solve it and assist. As the village is hilly it takes a bit to get down to the lake shores, but the area itself is beautiful for long walks and excursions. Highly recommended !
