A Dreamy Stay in Lake Como

Stayed at Villa Comacina for a bachelorette party in May 2023. It was very roomy and comfortably slept all 9 guests; no one even had to share a bed. The views are stunning, the entire porch is worth it alone: there's a hot tub, huge table for eating, and a really comfortable sectional. Inside, there was a well-stocked kitchen, a spacious living room, an elevator, a ping pong table, a sauna, and a laundry room. We rented a car and would recommend doing so. There are some walkable shops & grocery stores, but to get to ferry stations or into Como, it was helpful to have a car and the property has tons of garage parking. We personally liked that it wasn't right in any of the main towns so felt more cozy and residential. Overall, an amazing experience and the perfect place to host my bachelorette!

The hot tub wasn't working the first few days but they did send someone to fix it, it took a while to warm up but eventually did. There were some ants in the kitchen and living room, but likely just buggy season in Como. The hosts brought us ant insecticide almost immediately after we told them about it and it worked well. Lastly, while it is conveniently located on the main road, it's hard to get onto the street when you're exiting because you're backing out onto a busy road. Helpful to have someone outside the car to help direct traffic.

Great for groups, stunning views, fabulous all round

Incredible views, well equipped 4 storey villa with everything we needed. The hot tub, sauna and ping pong table were fun. Very clean and modern. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The Villa exceeded our expectations, would 100% book again!

Excellent vacation home! great value for money!

Matteo was great host, gave us many hints how to utilize our time on the lake. House is very big and is suitable for large families (we were 12 adults). And, extremely great terrace with amazing lake view!!!

Great place for a bigger group or family. Would stay again.

Awesome views to the lake and Comasina island, great location. Matteo, the owner, was very helpfull. In the Villa you can find anything you need for the stay for a bigger group. There is a safe parking for at least three vehicles.

Garbage place is 1 km away from the place. The Villa is just on the main road around lake Como, so it can be a little bit noisy.

Fantastic!

Good location, Good view of the lake. In walking distance to shops and restaurants. There were 13 family members including children & they all loved staying at the Villa. Our host Matteo, his service was outstanding and the Villa was very clean on arrival. We would return again one day, next time in Summer.

It was a perfect short stay holiday and it had everything that we needed and wanted. There was nothing that we did not like at all nor would we want anything changed. We already knew in advance that the time of the year that we went on holiday was out of season and a lot of places would not be open, eg. water sports, but it was far to cold for that!!

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument incroyable à la Villa ! La vue est à couper le souffle, un vrai havre de paix. Les chambres étaient impeccables, spacieuses et d’une propreté irréprochable. Les infrastructures sont exceptionnelles : entre le sauna, le jacuzzi, les espaces communs et extérieurs parfaitement aménagés, tout est pensé pour le confort et la détente. Un immense merci à notre hôte, toujours disponible, réactive et attentionnée. Une expérience inoubliable – nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

Empfehlenswerte und schöne Villa mit super Host

Die Villa ist sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Gutes WLAN, genügend Parkplätze und das Highlight natürlich der Whirlpool, die Sauna und der Pingpong Tisch. Kim (die Vermieterin) und Debora (Vertretung vor Ort) waren sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir erhielten gute Empfehlungen für Private Chef, Aktivitäten, Restaurants usw. und konnten uns jederzeit bei ihnen melden. Unsere Gruppe hat sich rundum wohl und versorgt gefühlt und alles sehr geschätzt. Sogar als der Filter vom Whirlpool ersetzt werden musste kam Debora und ein Techniker innert kürzester Zeit am Sonntag vorbei, damit wir den Whirlpool weiter benützen können. Ich war selten in so einer guten und schönen Unterkunft, mit so zuvorkommenden und netten Hosts. Hoffentlich bald wieder einmal.
