About this apartment rental
The beautifully restored traditional home in the Cretan countryside offers its guests quality and comfort in a historical setting near the sea. There is a special attention to the natural environment and a focus on eco-conscious practices and materials, without sparing any comforts for our guests. We pamper our guests with local and organic products, ranging from organic foods to local olive oil shampoos and soaps.
The kitchen is fully equipped to make your stay comfortable, and includes a filter coffee machine, an espresso coffee machine, a variety of sweeteners (brown sugar, stevia, and more), teas, and other goodies designed to delightfully surprise our guests. Our guests have the opportunity to try our personal production of olive oil, local wine, raki (spirit), local dried bread rusks, fruits, real natural yogurt, and local herbs, for example.
The home itself, decorated tastefully with historical objects in every room, exudes a comfortable homey feeling steeped in culture and quality, and it features two bedrooms each with double beds complete with fresh linens .
In the common areas there is a useful wooden desk for those who want to do some work or keep up communication with their loved ones. There is a comfortable solid wood dining table for lunches and dinners, and guests can enjoy the outdoors on the terrace, for eating outside while enjoying the amazing sea view. In the winter there is a fireplace to cozy up to inside.
There is a baby cot and a high chair upon request.
Access to the bathroom is through the main bedroom. Please check the photo of the floor plan before booking.. The property is mostly suitable for a family.

We had just one week, but quickly felt like being home. Vagia left some bread, honey, fruit, tea, coffee, milk and yoghurt and wine, so that we easily could stay without having the need to get something for breakfast the next day - we were very thankful for such a big care!!
The house is perfectly equipped - you don't have to worry about anything. Two bedrooms and a big cooking-/dining-area with a superb patio and a nice view.
Just one thing we did not like very much: the dog's barking all around most parts of the night; besides, we did not feel disturbed by the noises from the street.
Special thanks to Vagia who made sure that everything was perfect including a small introduction to the house's history and its other inhabitant (a lizard that sometimes appeared at night).

Das Haus liegt , mit einem herrlichen Blick auf die Bucht, oberhalb des Ortes Kissamos und ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Vermieterin ist eine liebenswürdige Person, die versucht alles bestens zu arrangieren (auch ein Obstkorb, Brot, Fl., Wein etc. sind eine freundliche Gabe zur Begrüsssung., eine Fl. natives selbstgepresstes Öl zur Verabschiedung.
Leider liegt das Haus oberhalb der Strasse und ist daher nicht ganz "ruhig".

We enjoyed our stay.The house was very clean and very well equipped.It is close to Kissamos for supermarkets and fresh fish and a variety of restaurants and close to beautiful beaches.
Our only criticisms would be its proximity to a busy road and the lack of a garden.
