The house is a renovated old building with a spacious living room and kitchen area. We especially liked the high ceilings and the huge antique front door keys. There is a nice and quiet bedroom on the first floor. Two more people can also stay on the second floor, which is open to the living room. There is a terrace in front of the house, next to which is a garden with pomegranate, fig, avocado, orange and other trees. The house has everything you need for living. It is decorated with heart and soul and we really felt like home. The host is a very pleasant and warm person. Thank you, Manolis, for your hospitality!
The house is located in the village of Afrata, where it is quiet and peaceful, because it is away from the crowds. There is a small, nice beach nearby, where you can enjoy a swim all alone in the mornings. There are not too many people in the middle of the day either. Even though the house is located in the very center of the village, it was quiet there - only a few sounds of everyday Greek life, which seemed to us to fit in very well with the atmosphere of our holiday. There are two good restaurants right next door where you can enjoy Greek cuisine. As well as a small shop with wonderful kumquat jam. Green Home is a perfect place for a couple like us. We spent most of the day driving around the island and spent the nights at the house and enjoyed breakfast. If we are ever in the Chania area again, we will definitely return to this house.

La casa es un lugar excepcional para pasar unos días, con todas las comodidades deseables, en un ambiente rural y familiar que resulta muy cómodo. No puedo sino agradecer desde lo más profundo de mi corazón el cariño con el que Manolis y su familia nos han acogido una vez más.
