The room was perfect, and the owner is the nicest we’ve ever met. The room was really clean and quiet at night. The location is also spot on—we had a beautiful sea view from our balcony. Booking this room was the best decision of our trip!

The room was very modern and clean. Even though I visited in the winter season the air conditioning could be used for heating. The water pressure and temperature were wonderful which needs to be mentioned since this is not always the case in Crete. I will definitely come back in spring or summer. Charis is a very nice and welcoming host. I was able to bring my small dog which most places do not allow. I can definitely recommend Charis and his place.
The only thing that needs to be checked is the WiFi. It kept dropping, so I had to reconnect several times.

Well equipped, spacious room with terrace area outside of Palaiochora. Fine for a low budget short stay.
As I was only staying one night, I was given a room on the ground floor with no sea view, and next to the owner's living quarters, who I could hear clearly through the walls. For me, the bed mattress was a little uncomfortable and the shower was basic. There is quite a bit of road noise.
