The property was great. Excellent facilities, spotless and great service throughout. The neighbourhood is great with a couple of mini markets and restaurants 5-10 minutes walk away. The communication with George was very easy. I would recommend to anyone wanting to spend a few days in ‘real’ Crete while being close to Chania and the touristic area. Thanks George for a great stay!

Beautiful villa, very well equipped, spacious and exceptionally clean. We found the beds to be kings size and very comfortable. It is set in a small village and surrounded by orange trees so a very peaceful setting. We hired a car and enjoyed visiting beaches, Chania, local villages, the botanical gardens and some lovely restaurants. As other reviewers stated we occasionally heard the neighbours dogs but not very often and only for a few mins at a time (probably just barking as dogs do when someone came to their house), it did not disturb us and we never heard them at night. Our girls loved the private pool and we all greatly enjoyed our stay there and wouldn’t hesitate to return when we next visit Crete. George the host was very accommodating and provided lots of information about the local area.

It was nice small village with very friendly people. As it was in the middle of orange fields then people just brought us so many oranges that we had fresh orange juice every morning. There wasn't many tourists in this village.
During our 4 day stay we visited Balos beach, Botanical gardens of Crete (very close, 10 min drive), Agia Irini Gorge.
