Fantastic view, could use some renovations

Right in front of the sea, the view is the killer app of this place. You can just go down, take a swim and come back. The staff was extremely responsive, polite and professional.

The bathroom could use some renovations. Despite being clean in itself, when leaving the room one has to leave a window open in the room along with the bathroom door open to avoid the room to intensely smell like humidity. The smell goes away in a few minutes, but still a bit unpleasant. A shower box instead of a shower curtain could also help a lot in limiting the amount of water overflowing in the bathroom, likely a contributing factor with the bathroom humidity.

Excellent location with beautiful view

Clean room with balcony and beautiful beach view. Has all the basics you need. Next to shops and restaurants. Excellent location, about 1km walk to town.

A fixed shower head would be perfect (rather than hand held - or have vith options). Street parking is tricky and hard to find.

It was all great—except the parking part.

Location

Expensive parking The parking situation was not what we expected. If we parked in front of the accommodation or on the pedestrian area—we later found out it was a pedestrian area—we would still get fined by the police. We received a fine for parking in the pedestrian zone, even though we didn’t know it was a pedestrian zone. And when we spoke to the owner, she said she would take care of the fine. The next day, however, she said no, that we shouldn’t have parked there, that we should’ve parked in front of the accommodation like we did the first time. When we went to the police to retrieve the car’s license plates, they told us that no matter where we parked in that area, we would still get fined—whether it was in front of the accommodation, on the pedestrian path, or on that street—it didn’t matter; we would get fined and they would remove the plates. Overall, I feel the staff didn’t take responsibility, even though the owner initially told us it was okay to park where we did. But the police later told us it wasn’t okay anywhere and that we would’ve been fined regardless. So be careful where you park—it’s not okay. You’re better off using the free parking in the resort. Just so you know, if you decide to park there, the fine is €150. If you can afford it, leave it there. If not, use the free parking. I’d also like to add that the owner said she had spoken to the police and that it was okay to park there initially, where we parked the first time. But it clearly wasn’t okay, since the police later told us that parking anywhere in that area was not allowed. And it wasn’t just the police who told us we couldn’t park in front of the accommodation, on the pedestrian area, or on that street—some of the local restaurant owners told us the same thing. They were the ones who later helped us figure out where we needed to go to sort things out with the authorities.

A joke

It’s very central

The floor was wet from cleaning , they had closed everything and it smelled like chlorine and trash. The also didn’t leave my towels only one for when you get out of the shower to stand on. Don’t know how you forget the towels. There is a light outside of the house directly which makes the room so bright you can’t sleep because there is a door with no curtains. They also told me that they will put me in the 1st floor, obviously not the case I was at the ground floor. A bar next door with music and the outside door left open all the time not secure at all with no one in the reception .

Not worth it.

It's near to the city of chania.

The floor was dirty and the ceiling had spider webs. The facilities barely working. Didn't have blackout curtains and we woke up from 6 am when the sun came out. Needs renovation! We didn't see any of the staff in the reception and all the keys was there without any security, the door in the entrance was open with anyone having access to use the keys of the rooms!!

The view was amazing

There was no oven. Only a microwave. The shower does not show that is extremely small. Approximately 2.5 square feet. There is also an extra fee for using the AC which is not listed in the description.

Poor

The keys were left in the door, anyone could have taken them. The apartment smelt strongly of bleach and yet was not very clean. The apartment was not quiet at all, I could hear people all night and could even hear the person next door vomiting one night. The wifi was hanging from the ceiling on the stairwell and a mop and full bucket left there all week. My balcony didn’t have a clothes line like all the other balconies either.

Great stay

Location is really great: right in front of a small beach (the view from the balcony is amazing!) and very close to the old town without the crowdedness. The owner/manager responded very quickly to our inquiries, and when we had to transfer rooms she made sure the whole process was done swiftly.

The bathroom is a bit small. The main door of the building is always left open -- there's probably very little risk, but it felt less safe.

The property was not clean when we arrived the whole room dirty it was better to sleep outside. Sand everywhere and hair. There was no hot water so had to take cold showers. Hairdryer was not working. Decided to leave after 1 night as it was unhygienic. The property did not want to give a refund at all and hung up the phone on me many times.

Nice and handy but…

It was situated an easy walk to the wall and the old town. It was on a beach and had lovely places to eat all around it. we were allowed early access. thanks for that. Place has a lift and we parked outside in the side street. Loved eating at Maxanas, the place just past the cocktail bar on the way to the wall.

The bed was so hard it hurt. The toilet was squished behind the basin and you had to be relatively flexible to get to it. Try not to get studio no 4! Shower was right next to the toilet so doing anything in the bathroom was not an easy experience. Basic studio. Glad I wasn’t any older or fatter! Annoyed me that I had to leave 1.50 city tax when my booking.com says that I paid city taxes. A bit rude when we were 3 nights but only serviced once and the towels were not nice and thick.

Simple hotel with great views

Wonderful view from the balcony. Very spacious room with functional kitchenette.

No internet connection 90 % of the time and cold shower one of the days. Dirty floors and dirty over all unfortunately. Not so much privacy because of space under the door where all sounds from hallway enters from. There's only one hour from checkout of old guests to check in of new. If they would make more time for cleaning than one hour the stay would probably be a lot more nice and with better value.

Great views and unbeatable location

Beautiful location, amazing view from the studio and seamless check-in and check-out. Dog friendly. The kitchen was well-equipped as well as the bathroom.

The studio is directly next to a shisha (hookah) bar, so it can get noisy at night.

Full of insects, no hot water, brown water coming out of the tap and drillling before 8am every day

Horrible experience. The owner was always lying to us and they do not care about anything. Avoid staying at this place because it's a scam.

Construction, demolishing & drilling to the room next door every morning before 8, behind the wall of our bed. The most horrible thing was the mosquitos and flies that were coming out of the room they were demolishing next to us. It used to be a hoarder's room full of insects, and during the demolition all the insects moved towards our room, also in the hallway, and in the elevator. Also no hot water, and when we informed the owner, first she said we had to contact her every time half an hour before we want to take a shower so she can turn on the hot water for us. The next day, when she finally decided to turn on the hot water, there was brown water coming out of the tap for sometime. Plus when we tried to talk to her about it she tried to avoid any responsibility by replying that our dog wasn't allowed to go on the bed, which was totally irrelevant to the issues we were trying to discuss with her.

It’s a nice little apartment with a breathtaking view of the beach. It’s fully equipped with all you need. Very comfortable bed. Nice restaurants around. Easy communication with owner. A very nice person. Highly recommended!

No hot water in the morning , had to wait 20 minutes for boiler to heat it up after I pointed it out. Second day it happened again , I did not bother to ask again as we were leaving. But hot water should come with the room not only on request....

Not recommended. Very dilapidated and high price quality!

The apartment is dilapidated. Very old. There was only a portable heater, there were no cleaning brooms or washing rags. There was no bubble bath in the bathroom. The bed was very uncomfortable for sleeping. The bed was not arranged, we had to make the bed ourselves in the evening. We also found dirty sheets and a bug in the folded sheets. Also you can't get there by car, you have to leave your car on the street and walk a whole piece of it with suitcases because the street is pedestrian only. At the cashier at 10.30 (the limit was at 11), we found ourselves thrown out and not even the time to go out that a man, visually drunk, entered the room without even leaving time to clean, to stay.

The view

The apartment was dull, small, very worn and not very clean. There was a pile of dirty tissue inside the blanket and the pillow cases were very creased and so unappealable that we coved them with our beach towel as we didn’t fancy putting our heads on them.

Fantastic view and location

Our room was facing the sea and a pedestrian street near it. Even though there were restaurants and bars right under us, it was quiet after closing balcony door and we slept really well. Walking distance to old town and a small beach.

Great sea view

- The studio has a balcony with a spectacoulous view over the bay, 8 m apart from it. - I like the location - 10 minutes walking distance from the harbour but here you have many restaurants but not many tourists, it is more used by local people. -The manager is friendly and answers every mail within minutes - I don't understand some negative comments about the kitchen. It is a normal kitchen and you can reach everything you usually need, even if you are not tall. Of course you need a chair if you like to get anything from the upper borders, but that's normal .

-It is really nice to swim in the clear water of the bay, you can go there by steps. But you should not expect a beach. There is just a small strip of some meters. - Unstable WiFi, that did not work several times. The manager told me how to rebote the router (out site, in front of the elevator), then it worked. But we had to do this twice one day. -The upper boards of the kitchen need a cleaning but besides this the apartment is clean.

Good for a night or two exploring Chania. Not luxurious but gets the job done.

Everything we needed was available at this place. The bed was comfy, the aircon worked well, there was washing up liquid to clean up after ourselves. The location was great for exploring Chania, and not too far from the airport either.

There was nobody there to see us at check-in, which would have been good as we had questions. The lift is so small, take the stairs if you're claustrophobic! The room had some small things 'wrong' like duct tape on the kitchen cupboard... The layout of the bathroom is less than ideal, the shower curtain has no real purpose as the room gets flooded when you shower anyway!

Julie was extremely helpful and polite lady. Everything was very clean and tidy. She even kept our luggage during our stay when we need it some extra time find rent a car. Thank you Julie you are fabulous. Highly recommended it to anyone.
